Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 6th May 2012
By: Takata
Hey Mummy!
I arrived save and sound in Lichtenfels at my new hosts. And there are so many other TVs! They welcomed me very warmly when I crawled out of my envelope.
Then I made a little bit sightseeing in the apartment of my hosts. It´s a big apartment, so I prefered to go by motor scooter
Hostdad asked me if I would help him. He needs an egg for breakfast. Oh, what a heavy duty! But I found the little shopping trolley. Günther helped me. Cool, I like this cute boy! I didn´t know what species he is. He explained, the is a very rare creature, a striped gecko.
I think I will have a lot of fun here!
Byebye for now,
Paul

Kaldenkirchen, Germany - 20th May 2012
By: Takata
Hello Mummy!
I am back from our trip to Kaldenkirchen. Günther and me accompanied hostdad this weekend to the sequoiafarm.
It was a long journey and it was a little bit boring. So we changed the driver. I was allowed to drive, too We were 4 plushies, Luna, the cute sheep and Bob who lives in the car. At first it was raining but then the weather got better!
Finally we reached the farm. At the entrance you see a pretty old house, called "Heidehäuschen".
Then I learned a lot about Sequoias. Exspecially about the Coast Redwood or Sequoia sempervirens. Sempervirens means that this tree is always green.
In the photo you see one of the biggest Redwoods in Germany, this tree is only 56 years old and sooooooooooo big, 25 meters!
Mummy, can we plant a sequoia in our garden, too? I think you will like it!
Yours, *Paul*

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 13th June 2012

Dear Mummy,
today my last day in Lichtenfels has come. I will leave hostdad and travel to California. I am soooo excited! The two TVs from California Cheerio and Wavy Gravy gave me a lot of tipps and we chatted a lot about their home country! It must be wonderful there!
But then it was time to say goodbye! to Baerle and Maeusle, to Aaron and little Günther and goodbye to Wolley and the two Californians.
I hope that my journey will be quick. I´ll take a nap now and will wake up in USA
Loooooooooooooooooove you!
*Paul*
