We also went to ICBC. (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China)


Today I eat some mooncake, rose and red bean paste. Very good!


This month, hostfamily received a lot of wedding invitations. It is a typical Chinese traditional style, at the same time, it means hostfamily need to pay a lot of money. In China, if you received wedding invitations, you must give they a lot of money. Money is to give a family wedding gift, it is Chinese the real situation.
Therefore, a lot of young people each month's salary wholly inadequate. Usually a young person 's monthly salary is ￥3000-4000, if one of your good friends get married, you should at least give him ￥1000. If you receive many wedding invitations, means you this month.....No salary!

Hostmom took me to a zoo, it was just a park subsidiary part. So, it is very small. Here these animals without a good environment and good care, when hostmom have time, she will buy ticket and some food to feed them. If this small zoo don't have a lot of money, we worry about these animals will die.  We are very sad.

After returning home, grandmother make traditional dish: white radish stewed meat. I use chopsticks.


We buy another traditional snacks: egg rolls. It mainly has: eggs, flour, sugar, peanut, black sesame and so on.

We went to a jadeite decorations store. It is small shop, also have other large shop. Chinese people called: Feicui, are very loved it, everyone has its decorations and jewelry. The price difference is very big: some very cheap, only need to ￥30-50. Some very expensive, even if you work for a lifetime also can not afford. In the south of other city, there are a lot of people "gambling jadeite".

Today we went to the Xi'an museum, but because hostmom forgot to bring identity card. So, we only can next time go this museum again. It is really a history, is also very beautiful. Is a typical Chinese characteristics.








Then we go to another place.










We went to a restaurant, bought some roast chicken, hamburger and drink.


Finally we by the subway went to the Metro supermarket, buy some vegetables. Xi'an metro station walls is very beautiful, this station is described the Chinese famous Tang Dynasty the emperor and his lover‘s story.

Today we went to "Huimin Street". This is a very famous place in Xi'an, it is Muslim living place. So there are a lot of Chinese traditional flok art works shop and characteristics food. We often come here, take the Metro from our house just needs two station. There are famous Mosque, many tourists from different countries will came to this street to visit.

First, we came to centre of Xi'an, can see the famous "Bell Tower". It is one of the signs of Xi'an, but recently China has big fog, we don't have a good weather take photos. And, "Bell Tower " now in the maintenance period, all wrapped. At least until February 6th to open again. When it again open, we 'll visit!

This is the "Jinhua Square", you can see the Chinese architectural features.

Then we went to Qujiang Ruins/Heritage Park. This is a Tang Dynasty ruins, near it there are a lot of other cultural heritage. In the summer it is very beautiful, you can see a lot of flowers and beautiful Chinese architecture. But now the weather is still cold, no flowers. So, we don't take too many pictures.

Today, hostmom specially to take me to see the landmark building of Xi'an: bell tower and drum tower. It was built in 1384 and 1380.
