Hi Mom, my journey was interrupted by some custom-officers, but my host could set me free!

My journey has been a few days too long, so I had to get an infusion immediately.

After that I felt very much better and escorted my host to work. She works in an old people's home in which I met doll Greta and seagull Mr. Adviser and then helped to make music at a Christmas party.

After work we went to a private Christmas party with some friends of my host. I helped cooking and drunk a little cognac.

When we came home, I felt in bed an slept and slept and slept.

Dear Mom, yesterday I met some new friends: Nick the bear, Claas the zebra, Peter the doll, Madrid and Mary the sheeps and Mrs. Piggy the mouse. I think Nick and Claas will become special friends and Nick will be the best.

After that I met the two old ladies of the house: Sally and Trixi. I swear I wasn't afraid at all...only a little bit.

Today evening we will go to church and sing a lot of Christmas carols. I will help the choir as good as I can!

Hi Mom, it was so beautiful at church! I helped singing Christmas carols and playing the organ. Then I watched the beautiful crib.

After church we celebrated Christmas at home. I helped unwrepping the Christmas-gifts, ate some cookies and enjoyed the whole evening.

Hi Mom, we've just come home from the Christmas party at my host's parents. I met someone new: Mademoiselle Pou-Poule, my host's Christmas present. She is very special, but we've got along with each other right away.
I climbed the Christmas tree very carefully because of the candles and I was a member of the crib, just imagine!
And we ate potato salad, one of the traditional Christmas dishes, mmmhhh!
Now I'm very tired and go to sleep. Good night, Mom!

Hi Mom, today has been a sunny day, so we went for a longer walk. Nick showed me the neighbourhood of my host's village Neuenbeken which belongs to Paderborn.
The old lady Sally is nearly 16 years old, so she is wheeled uphill and today Nick and I rode with her.
We climbed some shrubs (Nick helped me, he is taller a bit) and took a rest on an old tree.
But we didn't find any honey in the trunk, so we got some when we were back home.

Dear Mum, yesterday I met another toyvoyager: Dolivia from Neuss, Germany! Celebrating this we went to a Cuban bar, had some drinks and amused ourselves very well. Today evening we will go together to a New Year's Eve party, because our hosts  know each other well. I'm very anxious to our party and will tell you tomorrow about it. Bye, Mum, yours Biba

Happy new year, Mum!!!
Our New Year's Eve party was wonderful! First we watched TV: "Dinner for one", this old and very funny sketch is sended every last day of the year on many TV channels. Oh, what a joke! After that Dolivia and I watched the New Year's speech of the German chancellor. I wonder why we were the only listeners in the room.
After dinner we got Chinese lucky cookies: cookies with an written aphorism in it. At midnight there was a fantastic fireworks. Dolivia and I were allowed to light sparklers. And we got lucky four-leaf clover. And of course we drank sparkling wine and went to bed in the morning...

Dear Mummy, though my host was sick for a few days, it wasn't boring at all! I learned to sing with the budgies, played guitar and piano with my friends and chess with Sally (she won almost all matches, I think she is more patient and wiser).
One day Mademoiselle Poupoule and I plundered a whole box of chocolates, mmmhhh...and I swear, we didn't get any stomach-ache at all!
Yesterday my host felt better (due to all our music or in spite of it  ) and read a whole thriller to me. Wow! What a suspense!

Imagine, Mum, tomorrow we will go on holiday for one week! Nick, Dolivia and I will drive to the North Sea. Today we packed our case and now we go to bed in order to be fit tomorrow morning. I'm so happy that you knit a scarf and a cap for me, Mummy, because it'll be cold and stormy!

Dear Mum, today we started our holiday trip to the North Sea. Dolivia, Nick and I acted as navigators so it was no problem at all to reach the destination: Waddewarden, a village near the coast.
First we wanted to unpack our bags and were very astonished to see a trunk looking out of one of the bags: Djedi, the toyvoyager-elephant and stowaway came to light! We've got along right from the start, because he is a very nice elephant!
After the long drive and the excitement with Djedi we went to bed early...Good night Mummy!

Imagine, Mummy, today we went to the beach, but there was no water in the sea!Why is it called North SEA ?
And there was a part of the beach you are only allowed to set foot on when you are naked!!! In Germany it is called "FKK"...very crazy...

Hallo Mom, today I went to Hooksiel, another village near the coast.
First I met a seal and after that I entered a trawler, but unfortunately it didn't put to sea.

Dear Mummy, today Dolivia, Djedi, Nick and I went to Jever, a little town. We drove a taxi, rode a wild horse, entered a dangerous bull and a lighthouse. After that I needed a rest and went into a nice cafe drinking a traditional tea: black Frisian tea with sugar candy, mmmhh!
