Today I went with my mom to the post office.
We went out to the door.
Here I stand in front of our apartment door.
Then down the stairs.
And then I crawled into the enveloping.
Now I'm on the way to my first host Stu1981

By: Stu1981
Hi again, mommy!
Stu1981 just showed me a little of my home for the next days. I've found some new friends already
There is even one animal named "Remy". He looks almost like me, much bigger. I think, he's a rat, but he is o.k. I will have a great time here with my new friends and my host

By: Stu1981
Hi there!
So this is my first "full day" at my new host. The weather is not good again, but it's not raining. We will go outside to make some pictures later today. Until then, I am reading some books about Hamburg, my next destination. Can't wait to see St. Pauli and the rest of the city!!

Today we went out in the surroundings of my host's home. There are many fields with several vegetables and cereals plantet on. I found a field full with fresh, tasty corn and couldn't resist to nibble a bit
On our way back to the car I've noticed some small holes in the earth. My host told me, field-mice digged them to live in there. I had to take a closer look at it and i think, my first life mission is accomplished right now

Hi there!
Today I've been to the city with my host. He took me along the Reeperbahn and we visited the harbour, so my second life mission is accomplished
I've also seen a criminal theatre there. They perform a play called "The Mousetrap"

Hamburg, Germany - 6th November 2011
By: Stu1981
Hello there!
On friday my host took me and the other TVs to a typical old sailors pub in Hamburg, called "Zum Silbersack". This pub opened in 1950 and the founder, Erna Thomsen, sometimes is still there to serve the guests. She is over 80 years old and in St. Pauli everyone only knows her as "Tante Erna". The interior is most original from the first years of the bar and on the walls there are a lot of paintings of the harbor from the 1920-1930's.
We met some friends of my host and I have to say, we had a lot of fun there

Berlin, Germany - 5th December 2011
By: MA_17
Hello Mom,
today we wanted to do a big sightseeing tour, but it was raining until noon and started again after a short time. So it was a short day for me outside.
First we went to the Oberbaum Bridge. From here we had a fantastic view to the East Harbour section of the river Spree. On the left side you can see the buildings of Mediaspree, like Universal Music Headquarters (Germany), MTV Central Europe and TV Dockyard. On the right side you can see the Treptowers and the TwinTowers. And in the middle of the river Spree you can see Molecule Men. These thirty meters high metal sculpture was designed and executed by the American sculptor Jonathan Borofsky. Symbolically, they represent the intersection of the then three districts Treptow, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
We walked along the East Side Gallery. It is the longest open air gallery in the world. The art mile is located along the banks of the river Spree in Friedrichshain. It is 1316 meters long and it is also the longest segment of the Berlin Wall that is still standing. Right after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery was painted by 118 artists from 21 different countries. Using various artistic means, the artists commented on the political events that took place in 1989 and 1990 in over 100 works of art found on the eastern side of the wall.
In the course of the years, many of the images became greatly weathered and, in 2009, forty of these works of art were restored.
Our last stop was the o2 World. It was opened in September 2008, a modern multi-function arena setting new standards for Berlin. Up to 17,000 people can attend the concerts – then the stands can be converted to a sporting arena within a few hours after they leave.
The o2 World is particularly suited to large and spectacular shows, such as “Walking with Dinosaurs”, which features life-size dinosaur replicas. Concerts are also provided for by the ultramodern technology and video projections. The arena is also the home of the national league basketball club ALBA Berlin and the ice hockey team Eisbären Berlin.
By the way. It is cold in Berlin, but it is still not snowing!
Love, Joe

Hello Mum,
today we found a colorful envelope at hour hosts home.
We opened it carefully and saw something red inside. We were a little bit afraid.
It was Crawfish in the envelope. She came the long way from the US. And she had something sweet to eat for us.
Yours,
Joe
