Baltrum, Germany - 2nd January 2012
By: Dr.Kröbner
Hello Mummy,
next day in Baltrum, first some informations....
Baltrum is a barrier island off the coast of East Frisia (German: Ostfriesland), in Germany, and is a municipality in the district of Aurich, Lower Saxony. It is located in-between the chain of the seven inhabited East Frisian Islands. Baltrum is the smallest island in this chain by area and inhabitants.
We have made a long walk across the island
If you climbed up onto an embankment somewhere on the North Sea coast to take a look at the sea, you could be in for a disappointment - there's not a drop of water to be seen! Instead a broad, barren flatness stretches away before you. But don't panic, the North Sea will be back - in the Wadden Sea, the water ebbs and flows twice a day, in a six hour cycle. Giving rise, between Den Helder in the Netherlands and Esbjerg in Denmark, to a 10,000 square kilometre the like of which is found nowhere else in the world
looking for mussels
again some informations..In order to protect this natural landscape on Niedersachsen's North Sea coast, the area was made a conservation area in 1986. Since 2009, the Niedersachsen Wadden Sea National Park is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea. The 288,000 hectare Niedersachsen Wadden Sea national park covers the tidal flats between the rivers Ems and Elbe, including the East Friesian islands lying just off the coastarge wetland,
a nice view and a break...
another break ....puh long walk....
Sea buckthorn is a typical plant here.....found near the coast forming thickets on fixed dunes and sea cliffs
what a nice trip....
huggs and kisses, love you .......your Bruno

Hello Mummy,
what a day, bad weather....nothing for a plushturtle...rain and rain, sadly no snow....what can I do? Looking outside? Boring.....
I have an idea, I surf the Internet.
very interesting.
giant turtles
And then, look what I found, I'm famous.... on the internet pictures of me .... Unbelievable ... or is it a double, no matter what he can, I can also
I think the other plush animals is boring too, look what they done they have tried to play a game.
The dragon wanted to eat the frog and had almost swallowed Thanks God Dr.Kröbner was near and helped him.
Oh no, the skunk was riding on the frog and the raccoon snuggles.
Wacky laughed the whole time...
I explained the game and then we tried it, unfortunately it did not work, no play for plush animals .... pity...
It was still fun...hihi
I wish you a beautiful day, quite a lot of kisses
your Bruno
