Travelog for: Wild Thing

Hi there! I'm Wild Thing, and today I decided to become a toyvoyager! My friend Gooble is one already, and it looked like so much fun that I decided to try it out too  Today I went with my mom and Gooble to watch dance class. It was really fun. But mom was really tired, so I helped her make some coffee first. On the way Gooble and I saw these really pretty trees and decided to climb them, it was tons of fun! While Goobles mommy was in dance, I waited with her in her mommy's cubby. The girls all dance so beautifully!

Today I went to work with mom. The kids she watches are so nice and cute They were very sweet to me. While mom took care of the kids, I spent some time dreaming about all the places I might travel someday. I really can't wait to set off on a new adventure! I met some very interesting goldfish today. They were funny  And I also saw the most beautiful orchid, it smelled lovely <3

Went to work with mom again today. Gooble and I were allowed to help with story time. We read a great book about some imaginary creatures. They look a little like monsters, like me! After mom taught the girls their piano lesson for the day, I decided to try. The girls made it look so easy, but it was hard! I am going to have to practice more, and learn to read music.

Today is the ten year anniversary of a really sad day in my country's history. So even though we always have a flag flying at our house, it was extra special today. We are sending our love and warmest thoughts to all the service members, past and present, who have worked to protect our freedom, and we are praying for all those affected by that day.

We had a long drive home from our aunts house today, and had worked up an appetite. Mom didn't feel like cooking and Gooble's mommy had been craving PF Changs, so off we went. Dinner was sooooo yummy!!! And we got to see the most amazing sunset on the way there

Today, Gooble and I went to pick up mom's daughter from school. It's not a very long drive, but we were anxious to get there! She has a really fun hill in front of her school, and Gooble and I really wanted to roll down it. But mom said we were running late, and maybe we could do it next time.

Mom and her daughter started postcrossing about a month ago, and today I got to help write some postcards! When mom gets an address for her daughter to send a card to, she looks up facts about the country to teach her daughter. We've learned some pretty interesting things! Today we are sending postcards to England, Germany and the Netherlands. I really hope I get to see all of those countries someday 

It's Friday!! Woohoo! It had been a very long week, so mom was really excited it was finally the weekend. After work she rented a movie and got stuff to make sundae's, yumm! Her friend even came over and brought pizza! I love Friday nights home with the family 

Today was so much fun! Mom's daughter got invited to a birthday party! It was my first one But because the party didn't start until afternoon, Mom had a BIG surprise for us... we got to go to a movie!!! In the theater with popcorn and everything  We saw The Lion King in 3D. There were lots of previews, but the movie was great. Gooble came with me, and we even met two new friends while we were there. Their names are Roary and Spiker, they plan on becoming toy voyagers too! It was great to be able to watch the movie all together.

After the movie was over we went to the birthday party. It was at a place that also has a small farm. I met a big black pig, but he wasn't very interested in saying hello. There were also lots of roosters and chickens, those were very social and would come right up to you! It was really neat.

Today is Gooble's last day in San Jose! Tomorrow she gets to go on her first ever trip!! I absolutely cannot wait to hear all about her trip It also happened to be my Mom's cousin's birthday today. So we went to one of our favorite Chinese food restaurants with a bunch of family and friends to celebrate. There was this fancy thing in the middle of the table called a lazy susan that spins around so everyone can reach the food, and Mom let us take a ride on it I ate soooo much food, and even had some yummy cake. It was a fabulous way to celebrate. Birthday/Going away parties are the best  And after dinner, Mom's cousin offered to let me come back home with her to Los Angeles!!! That leaves only Spiker and Roary home with mom. Talk about an exciting day!

Happy Veterans Day and 11-11-11!!!! What an exciting and lucky day!! Maggie and the girls her mom watches had the day off of school. Since it was yucky weather outside we all made crafts indoors instead. Since Thanksgiving is coming up, we made salt dough ornaments to give to people we are thankful for. We used 1 part salt, 1 part water, and 2 parts flour. Then the girls mixed it all up with their hands (what a mess!), rolled it out, and used cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes. After we baked them for a few hours to harden and let them cool, they were ready for paint. Here we all are with Maggie's finished batch. Didn't they turn out cute?! The girls are so excited to give them out next week!
