Hi mommy!!

I have arrived in the Netherlands today and my hostess was very surprised to get me in such a big box!!

I immediately went to have a little look around the house and was rather happy to see all the plants!


I also found a nice medieval style chair and a spinning wheel! Have I travelled back in time, mommy?



I also had a little look around the garden.





I then found a nice place to sit when my hostess is behind her desk.


In the late afternoon I went with my hostess to her mother for dinner. This is how we travelled.



And in the evening I met one of the cats that live here: Tara. We watched TV together.



I think I will enjoy my time here, mommy! I will update again soon!

Hi mom!

Today we made a real Dutch meal: "Boerenkoolstampot". We started by pealing potatoes, with which I helped!


When we had done that, we washed the potatoes, cut them in little pieces and put them in a big pan.


Then we added the vegetable: "boerenkool" and water.


Then we put it all on the hob and left it to boil for half an hour.


Whilst the potatoes and vegetables were boiling we fried some minced meat.


Then when all was done we added the meat to the rest in the pan and used this very strange tool to mash it all together.


And this is the finished dish! 'Eet smakelijk'! It was very nice!!

I was a little scared today because of all the noise in the house! It turns out my host-mom is getting her toilet renovated! She lives in a rental property and the housing agency thought it was time for a new toilet! So today they started by taking out the old one...

Hi Mommy!!

I am sorry it's been so long since the last update, but my host-mom's life been a little hectic! Now for some stuff that happen 01 March!

We had another look at the toilet as it was being renovated...


I also spent a little time with one of the rats who live here. She is called Leki, which means sister.

Hi Mommy!!

Today I met another ToyVoyager: Ollie Kikabeer! He lives here and was sent home from the US! It was very nice to meet him and I hope we will have some fun together before I come back home or go somewhere else!

Today I helped put out the Easter decorations and we had a little look around the garden!

Today Ollie Kikabeer and I helped plant some sunflowers and we put some nice-smelling flowers in the livingroom!


Aren't they gorgeous?


This is the bag the sunflowers came in..


And this is where we put them in the ground.

Today Ollie Kikabeer and I helped clean the rat-cage.

We took everything out and cleaned it.



Here's the bucket of water we used.


Then Ollie and I inspected the cage. It looks clean, doesn't it?


So we went to see where the rats went as the cage was being cleaned...

Today we had a look around all the plants my hostmom is growing. We first had a look at the peppers.


We then looked at the sunflowers. Remember we helped plant them?


Then we looked at the tiny new peppers.


And we helped plant some corn in this spot.

Today we helped pack for the weekend. We will be going to a festival in Dordrecht called Keltfest, where we will be medieval for a weekend!! Ollie Kikabeer and I are so exited!!

We went to the Keltfest festival today. This is how we travelled; nice and soft!!!


We had a little look around the camp when our hostmom and friends were finished unpacking and putting up the tents.


See, we found a medieval cook!!


This was dinner. It was very nice!!!


We also met two other medieval people.

Today we had another look around the garden!
We started with the pepper-plants in the window:

The circus was in town here, so we went to have a look, after which we decided not to go to the show. The poor animals were in rather small cages and did not seem all too happy..

Today Ollie Kikabeer and I had another look at the pepper-plants. They grow so fast!!



We wanted to look in the garden as well, but it was raining, so we had a look out the window.



And then we cuddled up with Tara to take a nap.
