Travelog for: Baaarnaby

Hello and welcome to my travelogue! I suppose I should really start things off by telling you all a bit about myself. I'm a little sheep called Baaarnaby and I belong to three children called Rory, Iona and Euan. They live with their mum and dad in a suburb of Glasgow. Rory is 7, Iona is almost 5 and Euan is 2.

We have a toy staying with us at the moment and I've been having great fun getting to knoww him. He's been telling me about the big adventure that he's embarking on and I'm so jealous. I want to get out there and see the world too.

The kids' mum is trying to sort out a few hosts for me, but until then, I'll show you a bit about what I get up to here in Scotland.

Hello again, Just thought I would post a picture of me and my friend, sam white. We're getting on like a house on fire.

Going to be a busy week as next Monday Rory goes back to school and Iona starts school for the first time, she is very excited and counting sleeps. (Not counting sheep for a change).

Oh my goodness, this is just too exciting for first thing on a Monday morning. My mentor has just checked her email to find an offer to host me from Eshara in Trinidad! The CARIBBEAN!!! I am such a lucky wee sheep.  All those palm trees, golden beaches, sunshine and lovely blue seas.

Going to make my preparations this week and head over the Atlantic by Friday.

Today's weather is just shocking. Really wet and dreich - there's a good Scottish word for you. It means wet, miserable and horrible. We get a lot of days like that.....  So because it wasn't nice enough to get out and about we decided to bake instead.

You can see us propping up the recipe book, we were a great help. Then the raw batter before it went into the oven, and finally the baked muffins. YUM!

Well the big adventure starts here! I've just finished my packing and trying out my envelope for size. It's really comfy and it shouldn't take too long to get over the Atlantic, I hope!

Oh what a trip!

I slept most of the way so I'm very well rested for whatever my host has in store for me!

It's rather hot here and very very sunny!
I can't wait to get to the beach!

So far I've done some relaxing at home, had a nice lunch today and hung out with some pals that live there and I've met some other TVs that arrived almost the same time as I did!!! So we're all going to get to do stuff together! How exciting!!!

Hello!

Today was Trinidad & Tobago's 48th Independence day so my host had a day off!

We had a lovely pasta lunch (and we got to eat ON THE BED...shhhhh) and watched one of my host's favorite movies, Twilight! It was such an exciting movie!

We all got to look at the awesome collection of postcards she has from all over the world! WOW!
She loves Postcrossing (exchanging postcards with others) and keeps a log of all her cards and has them nicely put in albums!

And tomorrow...we get to go to work with her at the bank!!! YAY!!!

Today we all visited the Bank where our host works!

She said she's been working there for a little over 10 years!!! And she really enjoys it!

She took us to have morning tea with her and showed us one of the first aid kits at the branch.
She is one of the official Red Cross first aiders for the branch!

I got to answer the phone! :P

She also showed is how to use the computer to help customer aaaaaaaaand we got to see some Trinidadian money! And lots of it too!

We also got to see some of the decorations the branch had put up for their Independence day celebration!

My last host was soooo busy with work etc that she didn't get the chance to share my photos of my last trip but here they are now!!!

I got to visit Tobago with the other TVs and it was such a beautiful place! I hope you get to visit one day!

Off to Foster Care Home in Finland until my mommy shows up again!
