Travelog for: Ulrik

Hi everybody! This is me Ulrik 
I'm so excited about being at Toyvoyagers and can't wait to start my journey around the world.


Here is a picture of me, mum says I'm handsome... I better believe her 


Also I was weight and measured precisely. (My height is 8 cm)

Tomorrow is the first time I'm going abroad, I'm a bit nervous about the plain trip, but so happy I get to start my traveler adventure!!
Turkey here I come!!!

I arrived today.
Now I will rest a little.
Jeanne had a bad flue and still isn't well but much better and soon we will be able to go out.

Sorry for my late writing.
I had a great rest and already visited some places. But Jeanne couldn't go online with me because she had a take some exam and was quite busy.

Some time ago we went to Kücükcekmece.
Kücükcekmece is a lake in Istanbul and it's really nice there.
We took a Ferries wheel too. I liked it a lot.

I became friends with Claire Tamias.

Before we went to Kücükcekmece we had a stop at the Marmara sea.

Today we went to see some sights of Istanbul.

This photo shows me in front of theGerman Fountain.


At this picture you can see me and the Thutmosis' Obelisk  and the Walled Obelisk.Sadly, the weather was bad and it rained a lot.


Luckly, the sun came out a little bit and so I was able to make a sunny picture with me and the Sultan Ahmet mosque.


When we pictured the  Hagia Sophia it became cloudy again.



Later we went to Eminönü.
Here you can see the Galata Tower and the entrance to the Golden Horn.






This is the Yeni Mosque and The Süleymaniye Mosque.


Here I am at the Galata Bridge and in the background you can the the topkapi palace and the Hagia Sophia.



Look! I also meet other Toyvoyagers. Claire you already know.
But also Mr. S and PinkyHH.




We played some Game. Jeanne and Sülyeman (He is Jeanne's flatmate) also played with us. It was a little difficult because the questions were in Turkish but Sülyeman translated them for us.


It was my turn.


Well, that's all for know. Jeanne will soon travel to Germany and she will take us with her. There she will also show me a lot of things and after that we will return to Turkey.
I will try to write soon.

Hello Mommy,

we arrived in Germany a week ago.But I forgot my travelog password and then also Jeanne's parents' computer broke.
It's still not fixed but we lent a laptop for a few days.So I just wanted to give you a quick note. Maybe I will be able to upload some photos but I don't know yet.

Hello again!
I managed to upload some photos.
We didn't see much yet.The weather was really bad.
We went to the Mittellandkanal Midland Canal which is close to Jeanne's parents home and goes also threw the Drömling, which is a nature reservate in Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
The Mittellandkanal is with 325.7 kilometres (202.4 mi) length the longest artificial waterway in Germany.

After that we went to Jeanne's parents' garden and played hide and seek.



After that, we watched some flowers and I smelled the scent of some flower. Mhhhhh...

Dear Mommy,

I am on my way to the USA now.
Claire also went on a new adventure.
So we said good bye to our fellow TV's.




PinkyHH tried to sneak into my envelope but I saw it just in  time.


So I hope I will be able to write again soon.

Hello!

I have finally arrived in Florida, and it is very nice here. I was greeted by two other TVs, Bibi and Cieszy, and we have been trading adventure stories. Today was a very calm day, and my host took us out to the lake behind her house.





We rolled around in the grass together and had a great time!



I think I will like it here!

Tonight we went on a media adventure. My host took us to Game Stop, and Movie Stop.



Game Stop was first on our list. It is a store where you trade in old video games for new ones. We went to order Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, and look for some used games.



I laughed when I saw that there was a Grease video game. It uses a balance board and teaches you the dances.



Then we went to Movie Stop. I think they had every movie ever made in there! We looked around for a while, and I found some that I thought would be interesting.





In the horror section, there was a very scary picture to advertise it.



By the time we were ready to leave, it was very dark outside. I saw that we were right next to Wal Mart, so we took pictures by the sign and in a shopping cart with a toddler seat.





Then it was time to go back home, so we buckled up in our seat and left.

My host was playing chess, and we decided to make something special for our Mums. I love you Mum, and thank you for letting me be a ToyVoyager!

Today we were joined by a new friend. Her name is Miss Buttercup, and she is from Australia!



In honor of her arrival, my host decided to show us something very special. It is a teacup and saucer that her great great uncle bought for his mother in Japan while he was in the Korean War. We had to be very careful while looking.



Because I am so small, I got to sit in the cup. I was scared that I might break it, but everything was fine!



Mum, I really like antiques! My host says she has more that she can show me sometime, and I am excited to see them!   She also says that we will do something exciting soon, and I can't wait!
