Hi everyone!
I'm Munchy Moose a tiny moose with a big desire to see the world. Recently some of my friends have become TV's and started on their journeys around the world, so I thought this would be a great time to start mine
I want to see everything that my little eyes can take in, so I'd be happy to visit anywhere. If you'd like me to visit you just send a pm to beccasaurus.
Here's a picture of me while it was snowing here the other day.

Hello! Today I left to go on my first trip ever outside of Fort Kent, Maine. I'll be visiting imahockeynut in Montreal, QC, Canada.
I can't wait to get there and meet her, I'm so excited this should be fun.
Before I left I had to say good-bye to my good friend puff, who was also leaving that day to go to Germany.
Puff was going to try to fly me to Quebec... we decided the post would be a better idea :P
Finally we arrived at the post office. I was anxious to go inside and get my journey started.
Next time you see me I'll be in Montreal with imahockeynut!!

When we got back, Me, PollyWally, and Regina had a Manakish, (which is a pita with chesse and other stuff). This one was a plain cheese one and it was really good.
Later we watched the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Olympics. It was a spectacular show. This pic shows the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police or the "Mounties".) are carrying in the Canadian flag.
Next, the Natives welcomed the world to their lands. This shows one of the tribes but I forget which one.
Next came the parade of nations and I felt a little proud when the Americans came in. USA! USA!
When the Canadians came, my host, PollyWally, and Regina all started cheering. They came in last because they were the host nation.
Next was the cultural part of the ceremony. This segment of called "The Hymn of the North".
After, the Governor General of Canada, Michaelle Jean declared the games open.
The lighting of the Olympic Cauldron usually is a one person job but they had 4 people light it (well 3, since there was a technical error).
This was a spectacular night and historical one too. This was the first time in Olympic history that the opening ceremony and the Olympic cauldron was held in an indoor stadium.
Love,
Munchy

Hi Mom,
Happy Valentine's Day! Today was kind of a sad day because one of my host's TVs Regina is leaving tomorrow for the Netherlands so today is her last day here. So we decided to throw her a going away party.
First we ate some delicious nachos.
We also had some delicious French wine. I know, not the usually choice of drink with nachos.
For dessert, we had some Valentine's Day chocolates, also very delicious.
Later we watched some of the Olympics. First we watched the Ladies' 3000m Long-Track Speed-Skating. Canada's Kristina Groves won the bronze medal. The top American placed 9th,
Then we watched the Men's Freestyle Skiing-Moguls Finals. It was a very good competition. Here's Bryon Wilson of the Us, he was 3rd in qualifying and ended up winning Bronze, WOOOOO. USA!
Then came Alexandre Bilodeau of Canada. Guess how he finished? 1st! All of Canada is celebrating now because that is their first Olympic gold on home soil. I know that my host, PollyWally, and Regina were jumping up, crying and screaming because their countrymen made history. I applauded and was amazed because I witnessed history.
This turned out to be a great day even though Regina is leaving tomorrow. Hope all is going well with you and I just want to tell you I love and miss you.
Love,
Munchy

Hi Mom,
Sorry for not updating sooner, my host has been very busy with midterms, no matter.
Today we met a new TV, his name is Cpl.Flapjack Jr who belongs to my host. He was a little shy.
His shyness didn't last though and became fast friends. We won't be hanging around a lot because he's going to be leaving for Austria soon. In meantime though, we hung out and talked about traveling.
My host just told me that she had a surprise but we would have to wait until Saturday. I wondering was it is?
Love,
Munchy
