Xiamen, China - 23rd December 2009

Theo travelled to Xiamen by long-distance bus and checked in City Hotel Xiamen.
It's the only garden style hotel in downtown, and was praised by former U.S. President Richard Nixon.
He also visited Gulangyu Island filled with 19th century European style villas lining its narrow walks.

Chengdu, China - 30th December 2009

Xuyong, China - 1st January 2010

It's about seven hours bus travel from Chengdu to Xuyong, a small town in South Sichuan.
Theo arrived here on the last day of 2009.

Shanghai, China - 14th January 2010

Kathleen's 5 is a well-known restaurant in the city.
It is on the top floor of Shanghai Art Museum. The museum is located in the former clubhouse building of Shanghai Racing Club.
It's tea time for Theo, enjoy it.

Shanghai, China - 16th January 2010

People's Square is an interchange station of Shanghai Metro, it is reputedly the busiest metro station in China, handling a daily traffic of 400,000. Theo went to Longyang Road from here.
Longyang Road is a station on Maglev Train and Metro Lines. Passengers may transfer to Pudong International Airport(PVG) from here.
After visited PVG, Theo went back to Park Hyatt at Shanghai World Financial Center(SWFC), enjoyed his tea time in the bar on the 87th floor, overlooking Pudong and the Bund.

Shanghai, China - 17th January 2010

Theo spent his afternoon in 789 Nanjinglu Bar.
The bar takes over the top 3 floors of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai with great views of the city.
He enjoyed dinner in Lingo Bistrot. Located in Ciros Plaza, Lingo is a warm and cozy place to hang out, eat French cuisine for dinner with wines selected from all over the world.

Shanghai, China - 18th January 2010

Theo is a railfan. He just went to Shanghai Railway Station to see trains today.
It is one of the top class railway stations in China. The passenger traffic is most heaviest at all railway stations in Shanghai, since Shanghai is one of the important hubs among the railway network in China.

Changzhou, China - 20th January 2010

Theo visited Tianmu lake and Nanshan bamboo grove.
Tianmu lake is located in the central part of Yangtze river delta. It is one of the AAAA tourist zones of China.
Nanshan bamboo grove is located at the juncture of three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. It's affiliated with Tianmu lake.

Theo went back to Shanghai, checked in Pacific Hotel.
The classic Italian-style hotel is built in 1926, serving first as China United Assurance Company, then as Overseas Chinese Hotel.

The night flight is boring, you will always see darkness outside the cabin window.

Shanghai, China - 2nd February 2010

Boeing 767 is used for service to Shanghai(SHA) from Shenzhen(SZX) by Shanghai Airlines. It's the first wide-body twinjet airliner Theo flew. The weather in Shanghai is terrible today. It is cold, windy and the rain doesn't seem to stop.
