Christmas Carols

We were singing Christmas carols with host and others. I taught them how to sing Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht 

After singing we wanted to listen more Christmas music. There was lots to choose from (My host is crazy about Christmas...). Lots of children's Christmas songs and many DCs of international music, too. My host cold not choose between Michael Bublé and Finnish Tomi Metsäketo so made my choice... Everybody enjoyed Justin Bieber

Boxing Day

The most well known tradition linked to the Boxing day is "the ride of Stephen's Day" which refers to a sleigh ride with horses. These merry rides along village streets were seen in contrast to silent  mood of the previous Christmas days. Nowadays some people still do the sleigh ride but my family does the ride by car.

We went to the frozen and snowy and empty harbour. Sunny and COLD. I enjoyed the views. Flowipowi, Traveling Teddy and Snowman joined me.

Next stop was in Vaajakoski. We visited Naissaari, another summer place in Jyväskylä. It was frozen and snowy and empty. Sunny and COLD. Beautiful.

And of course we went to greet the big Panda of the chocolate factory. Happy Christmas to you, too!

Christmas movies

Many evenings in December I have been watching Christmas movies. Today it was time to watch again. But there is so much to choose from...

Finally I made my choice and enjoyed

I'm coming home!

I just said goodbye to my host, to Traveling Teddy and to my new friend Snowman. Then I jumped into the envelope and now I'm on the way home...

Hello friends,

I am at home again; I spent a wonderful time in Finland. My host gave me some nice things, so I had a lot to look at and I had enough to eat on my journey.



It was funny – I met JUMP – the son of my last host – and we talked a lot. Of course he wanted to wear the wonderful scarf!



The Christmas Tree of my Mum was still in the house – and I took a look at it.





But there were other nice Christmas Decorations in the room.







I loved this one.





Then it was time to say goodbye to JUMP.



It is nice to be at home again – I will tell my Mum all about my trips!
