Travelog for: Poppy the Dog

hello hello can you spot me among all these toys?




I am at the miniature park Madurodam in the Hague (Den Haag) with Leonie and her postcrossing/toy voyagers friends. I meet up with Blackcat and Marjolein who also host toys like me, they took so many toys with them.


Some of the toys told me they would go into the wild world by them selve. I saw some wonder off alone and I wish them a safe journey!
One toy asked me to join him.. but mommy to be honest I was scared about going away on my own, so I hurried back into Leonie her bag to stay safely with her.
Luckily for me I was with roo and kakuch.



I am so little still everything was too big for me!

Poppy went with me to Egypt!

It was hot there! We had so much fun together. We started off in Alexandria. We stayed there a couple of days, exploring the city and went on some excursions.




It was such a hot day when the bunch of us visited the Pyramids:








inside the pyramid, poppy is safely tucked away in my bag :-)

Finally!!! Japan =D

Hey Mom, Can you guess where i am? I finally arrived at Adriana's home and I'm too excited! I already met my friend/sister Miss Plum! I know I've been traveling a lot but like Miss Plum I don't want to come back to Brazil soon although I miss you a lot!



I'm so happy because I also met my friend/sister Miss Plum! Take a look at us



Today I also was introduced to the Vampire's world! Adriana told me that we will go to the movies soon and watch New Moon! Yay it will be the first time I go to the movies



Do you believe that I'm not only eating Japanese food ?!?! Yes, I also eat Brazilian food and Peruvian food. Today I tried Peruvian alfajores and they were great! Yummy!

I've arrived tonight in beautiful Trinidad!!!

Oh how excited I am!

My sister Miss Plum came along with me and I know we're going to have alot of fun!

So far we've already met some lovely pals that reside here at my host's home aaaaaaand I've met with 4 other TVs (one of which is another TV Dog!!!
We are all going to have an awesome time, I'm sure!

Tonight we relaxed a bit after our long trip overseas and watched some local news & television after dinner!

I'm going to take a rest now so I can be all ready for all my Trinidad adventures with my new buddies!!!

Hello!

Today was Trinidad & Tobago's 48th Independence day so my host had a day off!

Miss Plum and I got to bask in the warmth and sunlight from the window. It certainly is very green all over!

We had a lovely pasta lunch (and we got to eat ON THE BED...shhhhh) and watched one of my host's favorite movies, Twilight! It was such an exciting movie!

We all got to look at the awesome collection of postcards she has from all over the world! WOW!
She loves Postcrossing (exchanging postcards with others) and keeps a log of all her cards and has them nicely put in albums!

And tomorrow...we get to go to work with her at the bank!!! YAY!!!

Today we all visited the Bank where our host works!

She said she's been working there for a little over 10 years!!! And she really enjoys it!

She took us to have morning tea with her and showed us one of the first aid kits at the branch.
She is one of the official Red Cross first aiders for the branch!

She also showed is how to use the computer to help customer aaaaaaaaand we got to see some Trinidadian money! And lots of it too!

We also got to see some of the decorations the branch had put up for their Independence day celebration!
