Hola mum!

I've arrived to Spain!!! I like the weather although it is so hot and dry. We reached 42ºC yesterday afternoon! 

These are my new friends. Rafael, the monkey and the little purple creature Tobbi which is on the way to The Netherlands at the moment.
Rafael and I said bye bye and wished him a very pleasant travel...



I'm ready to visit many places with my host, Aurora, and my new friend Rafael and have a great time over here

Sorry for being late but my host, Aurora, was really busy and she couldn't show me the world over here...

Then, we walked through a lovely park called Gasset, on the way to Aurora's




And these are Don Quixote & Sancho Panza Statues. They are the main characters of the Universal Novel by Miguel de Cervantes "DON QUIXOTE"...

In front of these statues is placed Don Quixote Museum, a little but nice 120 y.o. house.


In front of where Aurora lives, there is a little park with a Train Locomotive in the middle


And in the afternoon, she took me to a little bar called Horóscopo.
There, Aurora had a sweet white wine and a little piece of food called MIGAS (bread, bacon, pepper, grapes... a typical dish from Ciudad Real and region) It looked tasty!
You get a little piece of food for free (TAPAS) when you have a beer or a glass of wine...

Hola mum,

Today we walked a lot with Aurora's friends in the city center of Ciudad Real. We spent a really nice evening and they showed me many places like the Main Square and other little squares.


We bumped into a little arabian kebab stall. So nice and tasty place!



This is Cervantes Statue, placed in Cervantes Square. He is "Don Quixote" writer.



And this is the statue of "Don Quixote" character above his horse Rocinante, placed in El Pilar Square.


It was a very nice afternoon but a little bit hot for being autumn!


Then we went to the Main Square and we could see the Council Building. It seems to be a Dutch building or so.. but not from here. So rare but nice! I like it!


In front of the Council there is a big fountain with a statue of the founder of the city, the King Alfonso X (the 10th), as known as "The Wise" because he was a man of culture.




And this is the back side of the Council Building... With a really big bell too.


We were very hungry so we went to a little cafe called La Deliciosa (the delicious) where we had a coffee and a dough with cream called "pepito"

Yesterday evening we went to the country, 7 kilometres far from Ciudad Real. We went to Molino Sancho Rey. It was a nice evening for being the end of the summer...

We walked this path for half an hour...


And we could see floks of sheep and goats.
Sheep and goats in Spain say BEEEEEEEE instead of Baaaaaaa!


Then, in th city, we had dinner in McDonalds...

Another long distance flight back home, I'm getting used to it. But why didn't anyone tell me, that Katrin has moved? At her old address her mum gave me a nice welcome and after a little rest I flew to Leipzig. When I knocked at the window, my old friend Muumipeikko opened it. He introduced me to Bubo, a TV from Wales.


They brought me into the kitchen where Katrin was just cooking a broccoli soup. It was real good to get warm again!

Katrin had good and bad news for me:
The bad one: I will continue my journey tomorrow (I thought that I could have a longer rest here).
The good news: I will travel via envelope this time and in my next destination is summer now: I will travel to Brazil!

Since the weather was really nice and warm (about 10°C) I could get some impressions from Leipzig's city center:

Hi Mommy!!!

I´m terribly sorry for not posting news of my trip before. Things here have been crazy and our host is going through some really bad time. But enough with that and on to my pictures!

First i must say it won´t stop raining here! It is the hottest place I have ever been to and when rain comes and everyone thinks it is going to get fresh and nice... it doesn´t, it is just humid and very warm. I´m not complaining! To me it is a wonderfull adventure!

Yes, a long time I have been here! I spent a very brazilian Christmas here. The whole family gets together, from all the grandmas, cousins, uncles and their families, everyone dancing , drinking and having fun!

Hello!!!

Some new pictures from my trip are here! In the end of january, our host MorgenSter took me and my new tv friend Penny to Marilia, the city she studied in for 4 years when she was at University. Marilia is 7 and half hours away from her home town Santos, but still in the state of São Paulo!!!

She graduated from International Relations and we got to spend some time at the grounds of her Uni, UNESP. An amazing campus, full of trees, green and its air feels like studies!It was a very very hot day, but we manage to find some shade to rest a bit as well!

This was a great trip inside Brazil, and every day, by the end of the afternoon and beginning of evening, it is so hot during the whole day that it rains a lot. The rains lasts normally one hour and more and more it religiously comes everyday almost at the same time... Amazing!!!

In the beginning of the month we went to a Baby shower, our host´s cousin was pregnant and we went to São Paulo just to participate of the party. It was great, a lot of good food, presents, pictures... everything so neetly planned and carefully decorated! I loved it! Here are some pictures

Hello!!! So finally we got new pictures! MorgenSter and her boyfriend took us to the beach and it was great! I ate corn with her boyfriend, dove in the sea and got a bit tanned, I know I couldn't hide from the sun... but it wasn't too strong!!!!
