Today we visited the medieval faire in Bückeburg. It is one of the biggest faires in Germany.

But before we wanted to show you the castle Bückeburg: in german

Today we visited the Zoo Hannover. Here you can see us with the animals:

today we were at my hosts parents. they made a cousins meeting with a bavarian evening. We ate some bavarian food and drank some beer:




and we played with my hosts sons toys:

Today we went to work with our host. She works at the land register office in Hameln. She is a surveyor. Here you can see us with some old maps and some old things surveyors used:

Today we visited the city of Hameln. We have seen a lot of old buildings:

We visited the medieval faire on the Schaumburg today. The medieval faire is small, but really nice.. Here are some pics of the faire and castle:

Today our journey to Austria started. Here you can see me on the airport. We'll visit the pal of my host for one week. I'll already know her as I came from her to my host:

Today we visited Vienna. It is a really nice town and we had great weather (27°C).

Today we visited the Zoo Schönbrunn. It is the oldest zoo in the world:

Today we drove in the Wachau. We have seen different places.

And we visited Maria Taferl, there is a big and nice church:

Today we drove to Klosterneuburg. We visited the abbey there and spent some time in a nature trail:

Today we made christmas cookies and decorated the house with christmas decorations.. We had great fun to make the cookies. Sad that the battery was over, so we only made some pics.

The last days it snowed a lot outside, so we decided to go sledging with my hosts son. We really had a lot of fun outside, also if it was cold outside:

Hi Folks,

I heard in the radio, the "Maschsee" in Hanover is frozen and it is

allowed to walk on the lake....wow...I must have a look......
.


and what can I say....Ice, Ice and so many people on it

I hope the ice is strong enough.....
