Moosy and P Bear are ready for travel.
They look forward to meeting their goals and traveling all kinds of cool places! They enjoy traveling together and sharing little souvenirs with the people they meet.
If you want to leave a little something in their travel home please feel free but no pressure. Anyone who hosts them will receive a Canada pin made with the copper from the Parliament Buildings from me.
Happy travels!

First we went to a cafe to get some energy and wake up.
We met also another Toy Voyager, Lucky Duck from Australia. We drank Finnish coffee and ate together a bun as people here often do.

Here we are at Töölönlahti Bay, in the centre of Helsinki. It's a nice strand and park, very popular place. We saw two drakes swimming in the sea.
Lucky Duck was interested in Finnish birds but they were quite shy and didn't come close. Maybe they saw a bear and a moose and that's why they flied away...
It looks like there's sky behind us but it's the sea. It was a very calm and bright weather, a nice autumn day.

Vantaa, Finland - 9th November 2008
By: hylitalo
We have spent this weekend at our hots's home in Vantaa. It's located next to the capital Helsinki (about 20 minutes bus drive to the centre of Helsinki from our host's home).
Our host has a flu second time this autumn Fortunately we have been here and we've told her wild stories about Canada when she has rest at a sofa
It has been a very very dark day! The sky was grey all day and now it's so black outside we don't see anything. November maybe is not the best time to visit Finland. There's not snow yet in southern Finland, it only rains almost every day.
It has been nice to sit inside and watch candle light. In this picture we are in the kitchen. We baked traditional Finnish Christmas delicacies. In a plate there is a pastry with plum jelly, it's looks like a star. Moosy is just enjoying glogg: red wine with spices served hot.

It snowed over a day and we got about one meter snow It's really hard to us to walk and we need to be carried by our host.
Unfortunately we heard the snow will not stay because there's coming warmer weather again to Finland. Our host told that last winter was extremely dark in southern Finland and everyone's waiting for a white winter.

Still alive in Finland...Our host has had a terrible flu from October to Christmas and she's a little bit tired for that. We've been healthy however. Today it's Christmas Eve in Finland and we decorated the house with our host.
