Torndirrup Nationalpark, Australia - 10th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

We drove to the Torndirrup Nationalpark. First we stopped for the view over Albany.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0485.jpg

This viewing point is called The Gap. Oh – they build an exciting platform there.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0492.jpg

I was so brave – it was high about the sea level.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0494.jpg

We were able to look through the platform.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0497.jpg

Beautiful!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0500.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0502.jpg

This was a Natural Bridge.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0507.jpg

We had a great view from here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0508.jpg

And we learnt a lot about different kind of rocks.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0514.jpg

These rocks were nice.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0523.jpg

From the Jimmy Newhills Lookout I saw the ‚secret‘ haven.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0524.jpg

This plant was great!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0528.jpg

There was a round way on the Stony hill. This plant next to me was funny and very tall. The rocks on the hill looked beautiful!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0533.jpg

And we had a nice view.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0533.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0537.jpg

Can you see the small people on the rock?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0540.jpg

We were on the left side during the last hours – now we will drive to the right side.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0543.jpg

I am on the beach yet.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0546.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0554.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0555.jpg

It was a great day in the National Park!

Beedelup House Cottage - Hansel, Australia - 11th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

We are in a nice holiday home at the moment.

I met this friendly Ringsittich on the balcony.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0630.jpg

He was really funny!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0637.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0638.jpg

And look – kangaroos walked next to our house.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0632.jpg

I stayed at home today – and prepared everything for Stoker’s birthday party. It was hard work!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0639.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0640.jpg

When the others came back, there were two couches waiting for all of us – and we talked a lot.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0643.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0642.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0641.jpg

Then we went to the nicest views with our flying couches.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0645.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0646.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0649.jpg

When it was getting dark, we went to the fireplace.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0650.jpg

The evening ended with a yummy bottle Bundaberg, the famous Tim Tam cakes and surely chips.

Donnelly River, Australia - 12th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hi Mum and Dad,

It was time for a Cruise – well – this boat looked small. It didn’t matter, we wanted to cruise on the Donnelly River.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0671.jpg

This boat looked good – and I saw the Captain.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0673.jpg

We drove from the Karri-Forests to the Ocean.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0676.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0681.jpg

Surely I had the best place on the boat.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0682.jpg

Look there was some sand.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0686.jpg

The trip was relaxing!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0687.jpg

When we went near to the ocean, we saw some small hills.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0690.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0693.jpg

This looked exciting. What will be behind the curve?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0696.jpg

The rock looked great!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0701.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0702.jpg

There was the beach – and behind it the sea.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0706.jpg

This was the way we came.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0705.jpg

The beach looked so beautiful. Behind me you can see the river.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0711.jpg

The boat waited for us.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0714.jpg

The beach was great – and there were only 4 other pessengers from the boat here with us.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0717.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0720.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0721.jpg

Then we had to go back on the boat.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0726.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0729.jpg

We had tea and fantastic muffins.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0732.jpg

On the way back we saw this small cottages.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0735.jpg

We really enjoyed the trip!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0738.jpg

You can see where we went today. At ‘you are here’ was the start and end – and we went to the ocean.

Cape Leeuwin , Australia - 13th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

You need to visit a beautiful lighthouse in every holiday! This was the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse. We saw so many tourist here as never before during this holiday.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0745.jpg

Here you can see the flag.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0746.jpg

This is one of the houses, where the light keepers lived with their families.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0752.jpg

Wow – this lighthouse is the highest in Western Australia and the third highest in Australia.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0757.jpg

We were not allowed to leave the ways, because there were snakes in the grass.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0762.jpg

The lighthouse was so beautiful!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0763.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0768.jpg

And I loved the view here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0774.jpg

This was a great point – two oceans meet here.

Mammoth Cave , Australia - 13th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

Time to climb under the ground. We visited the beautiful Mammoth Cave. We were allowed to visit it on our own. We had an audio-guide.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0783.jpg

The first hall was very big!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0784.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0788.jpg

This cave was famous, because they found fossils there. Here we saw a bone.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0792.jpg

There were more bones.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0795.jpg

It was a great visit.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0798.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0803.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0804.jpg

But it became exhausting at the end – we had to climb up 200 steps.

Margaret River , Australia - 14th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

We were in Margaret River in a nice house. There was a place called amaze’n near to it. What a funny name.

Next to the mazes were a botanical garden.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0809.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0811.jpg

This was the entrance to a maze – will I find the exit?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0812.jpg

Dicker Kumpel and I found it together.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0814.jpg

We had to rest – it was very hot today.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0815.jpg

Oups, this was the entrance to a very big maze – this looked difficult!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0817.jpg

Which is the correct way?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0819.jpg

A dead end again.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0821.jpg

We were ready with the first half of the way – it looked difficult from here, too.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0823.jpg

Fortunately we were able to escape and watched beautiful flowers.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0825.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0827.jpg

This should be art – but for us - swings.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0828.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0830.jpg

More plants.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0831.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0833.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0836.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0846.jpg

Another difficult game.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0837.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0838.jpg

What was this?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0840.jpg

We were caught in the net of a giant bird.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0839.jpg

But we were able to escape on this bike.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0843.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0844.jpg

What an exciting day!

Busselton, Australia - 15th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

I want to show you our holiday house. This was the nice view from our veranda over a small lake.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0849.jpg

The lake was really beautiful.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0850.jpg

You can see our cottage there.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0855.jpg

We had enough place to relax in the living-room.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0856.jpg

Then we drove to Busselton. They have a 1,8 km long jetty there. A small train drove on it, but we preferred walking.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0859.jpg

Look, see-gulls with their chicken.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0857.jpg

We were far away from the coast.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0868.jpg

But there was a longer way to walk.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0875.jpg

No idea, what this was – probably arts…

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0879.jpg

Look, a Fisher man.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0882.jpg

Back on the safe land, we saw this old crane.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0884.jpg

It was nice here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0889.jpg

Then we continued our trip to Mandurah. The weather wasn’t so nice here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0890.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0894.jpg

However it was beautiful.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0893.jpg

We walked over this high bridge.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0899.jpg

There were many small boats.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0902.jpg

And surely arts again.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0905.jpg

The view from our next apartment was nice, too. There were many beautiful birds on the stone in the lake, but there were too far away for photos with me.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0910.jpg

Lancelin, Australia - 17th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Dad and Mum,

Time for another beach. However – this one should be cleared for the summer – it was a lot of seaweed on it.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0912.jpg

But the color of the sea was beautiful!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0913.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0914.jpg

Then we went to high Dunes. The Australians have their own sense of humor. This sign is for drivers, who stuck in the sand.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0921.jpg

This looked beautiful. The small points on the Dune are humans – they drive on sand boards there.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0924.jpg

I would have loved to drive in this sand buggy, but I wasn’t able to reach the accelerator.

Pinnacles Desert, Australia - 17th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

These funny formations are called Pinnacles. You can find them in different sizes.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0930.jpg

I really like it here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0933.jpg

These ones were very tall.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0937.jpg

And it was very windy here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0940.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0942.jpg

It was a great trip through this scenery.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0949.jpg

We saw many Pinnacles from this viewpoint – and many tourists.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0947.jpg

In the evening we went to Cervantes’s beach. Soon we will be back in dear old and cold Germany - so we had to enjoy the blue sky and the high temperatures.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0951.jpg

There were fishing-boats on the ocean.

New Norcia , Australia - 19th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

On our way to Perth we stopped in North Norcia. It is a town of monks. Behind me you can see the Gertrude's College.

https://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0958.jpg

Next to it was another college – it looked similar to the first one.

https://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0960.jpg

This was the Abbey Church.

https://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0962.jpg

And here a look into the Abbey.

https://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0964.jpg

We had a delicious meal in this hotel. In the town on our walk it was too hot – and there were many flies around us.

Perth, Australia - 20th November 2016

By: RikeH

Hi Mum and Dad,

We were in Perth – the loneliest city in the world. The next city is very far away. We saw beautiful houses.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0969.jpg

The streets were ready for Christmas.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0970.jpg

Look – skyscraper behind the low old buildings.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0973.jpg

I really liked the theatre.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0975.jpg

But the high-rises were nice, too.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0977.jpg

A small church…

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0979.jpg

…and another old house.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0981.jpg

These men were funny – they showed the evolution of businessman in the last centuries.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0983.jpg

London Court was a nice small mall.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0990.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0985.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0987.jpg

You can see the difference between old and new here again.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0991.jpg

This man was very sportive.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0993.jpg

The town hall.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0995.jpg

There were kangaroos in the middle of the city.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0997.jpg

We jumped with one of it.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0998.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-0999.jpg

Really exciting!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1000.jpg

There were more beautiful buildings…

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1004.jpg

…and small gnomes.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1006.jpg

This was the bell tower.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1008.jpg

What a wonderful view of the skyline of Perth!

Perth, Australia - 21st November 2016

By: RikeH

It was our last day in Australia. The plane will start late in the evening, so we had time to visit the zoo. It seemed to be too hot in the sun for the penguins.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1013.jpg

I learnt a lot about penguins from all over the world.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1015.jpg

There were beautiful birds.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1017.jpg

And I was impressed by these tall birds.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1019.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1021.jpg

Prickly companions slept here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1023.jpg

Of course there had to be kangaroos.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1025.jpg

This was a strange tree.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1027.jpg

Do you know Numbats? We rode on one.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1028.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1029.jpg

This tree was funny – the fruits looked like sausages.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009//2016/Aussie-1031.jpg

A friendly turtle brought us to the airport. It was a wonderful holiday in Australia.

Hamburg, Germany - 1st December 2016

By: RikeH

Hello Mum and Dad,

I will come home soon – but today I went to Hamburg with RikeH to see the Christmas decoration. I started in the railway station – this huge ball is beautiful!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0001.jpg

Then I walked in the Europa-Passage – a mall in Hamburg's city center.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0002.jpg

There were wonderful Christmas Trees.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0004.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0003.jpg

There was a white Christmas market next to the Alster.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0005.jpg

What a nice view.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0006.jpg

Look – the Michel – but only a small version.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0008.jpg

The Alsterarkaden…

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0009.jpg

…and a view to the town hall.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0010.jpg

Rodolph and his friends fly in front of the town hall.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0012.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0013.jpg

You can buy very expensive Christmas deco here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0014.jpg

I liked it here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0015.jpg

My last stop was next to this wonderful Christmas mill.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2016/Dez-0018.jpg

But now it is time to come home!

Bad Salzdetfurth, Germany - 6th December 2016

By: HoBi

Hello,

today is Nikolaus Day : the humans put their cleaned shoes in front of the door the night before – and on the 6th of December the Nikolaus came and put sweets into the shoes – if the humas were well-behaved. Unfortunately I don't have shoes – but we searched big ones from HoBi.

These shoes are too small.  B)

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7103_zpskytjkk5a.jpg

But this was great ! This boot was big enough. :D

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7105_zpsqjmzd0l3.jpg

Bad luck for us – the boot was dirty. And the Nikolaus only fills clean boots with sweets.  :(

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7107_zpskypixate.jpg

So we searched something to clean it.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7109_zpsxrsr3eu1.jpg

And we  cleaned the boot.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7112_zpsritw6evz.jpg

It looked great...

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7118_zpscadjikrc.jpg

Ready – now we put the boot in front of the door.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7125_zpsorkp7khy.jpg

This was exciting – we sat behind the door and wanted to surprise the Nikolaus.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7128_zpsbgg2bs6q.jpg

We waited all night long – this was my time to hear what happens!

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7135_zps9xfgzvkm.jpg

Well – I heart something!

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7136_zpsiqvz1zrt.jpg

It worked – the whole boot is full! :D

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7145_zpskfrzdefp.jpg

But what now? How can we get the sweets? We are so small – and the boot is so big! We pushed togehter – maybe he will fall?

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7147_zps7sqlp1yl.jpg

We made it – and so many sweets for us! :D

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/IMG_7149_zpsu30x4vwf.jpg

We must have been very nice over the year.

Happy Nikolaus

Kaufungen, Germany - 24th December 2016

By: HoBi

Hello,

We were on holidays for some days. We visited Kaufungen.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7165_zps0x28mcrf.jpg

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7168_zpsancxj4ih.jpg

But more important : It was Christmas. :)

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7170_zpsgwrzlfkn.jpg

Time for gifts. My best friend Dicker Kumpel send me many gifts!

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7207_zps7p6jzhek.jpg

What will be in this gift?

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7208_zpsdfzi4me2.jpg

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7209_zps5tiqrcpn.jpg

This looked difficult. I will try it with my friends.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7210_zpsm2h5obdt.jpg

I have to look at that! Wonderful! It looked great!

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7218_zpsixwiau0n.jpg

Another gift.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7212_zpsyo8xkjnl.jpg

What was this?

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7215_zps23hoch9m.jpg

I called Poschti and Pieksi. We thought about it!  We needed batteries. But we didn’t have batteries.

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7221_zpsnjwqrl9m.jpg

Fortunately HoBi had some for us. What a wonderful gift! :D

http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb347/HoBi666/BadSe%20Dez%202016/Kaufungen/IMG_7223_zpsafx4npuu.jpg

Thanks Dicker Kumpel for all the great gifts! :D
