Hi Mum,

today we explored Sülfeld, where Rike lives.

Here is a nice small lake,



the old school,



and a beautiful church.



Then we helped Rike to plant some flowers.



It was a nice sunny day, so we relaxed in the grass. 

Hi Mum,
we went to Lübeck. It is a nice city – in 1987 the Unesco declared the existing cityscape to be a World Cultural Heritage Site. 

First we saw the Holsten Gate – it was on the 50-DM-bank-note of Germany. But now they have the Euro here.





Next to the Gate are the Salt Warehouses and other nice buildings.





Then we climbed up the tower of the St. Peter’s Church. We had a lovely view of the city – but it was very stormy…





Then we saw some other nice buildings.







It was a nice time !

When we arrived at home, a new ToyVoyager was waiting for us - he is called Lupus-Tigger and we talked a lot !

When we sat in our armchair today – a new TV arrived. She is called Kunigunde
and is a friendly little pig.



Because we were hungry we ate a big Pizza,



but it was to big for us... 



Then Rike took us to the playground.





We had a lot of fun together.



Now we will talk about our adventures.

We had a nice lazy week-end and played with a beautiful yellow balloon.

We made a trip with the bike today.
The nice yellow fields are typical for Northern Germany at this time of the year. The plant is called rape we think, in German it is Raps, a funny word.





Then we saw this nice maypole…



…and made a rest next to a lovely lake. We all had fun together.



In the evening we said good-bye to TobiHH, because he will start his trip to Finland now.

Hello Mum,

this afternoon was a special one. I didn’t walk through the beautiful countryside of Suelfeld, play with the other TVs or watch television. No, I did one of my missions: I went into a gym to lift weights.





After driving to Rikes Gym in Hamburg I was there – behind this window are the apparatus.





Oh, Mum, that was so exiting! Now I was into the gym with all the fitness equipment!



Which one should I take? Did I work with the legpress? … no, that’s too easy, I wanted to practise my arms!



Now I looked for long-dumbbells – should I take the fixed …



… or one of the movable dumbbells?






Just as well I could take one of these beautiful short-dumbbells!



After thinking for a short time I decided for a 35 kg = 77 lb short-dumbbell.



Mum, 35 kg or 77 lb are very, very heavy! I lifted the dumbbell for you!!



After that sporting afternoon I was happy to lie in the garden doing nothing!

Hi Mum,
in the afternoon we went to visit a nice castle. It was built in the years 1570-1585 and is very nice. Unfortunately we were not allowed to make photos inside, I think, they want to sell their postcards.


So, those are all of us on Rikes car.

Dear Mum,

today two new TVs arrived here. It was just the right time for them to arrive. Rike planned a nice party with many games today, because three of us will travel to our next destinations this week-end. Now it is a Farewell- and a Welcome-Party. Great !



For the Party we had two teams. I am in the team for the big TVs.



First we played billiard. That is not easy….so we moved the billiard cue together.





The next game was darts. We all tried to have a 180, but that is not possible for a little ToyVoyager. My best result was 121 – that is good, too.



After these sportive games, we played a game, named Ligretto. It is a very fast game and we had so much fun !





Our referee was a very funny Toy – it is called long hippo. He counted all the points from the different games and believe it or not, we are all winners.  What a wonderful evening.



We had a wonderful sky  - can you see me in front of it?



On Saturday I will come home, or go to my next host. I had a great time here in Germany!

Hello Mum,
I am a little sad, that you don’t write me and read my travel log. But today Rike and I decided, that she will take more photos of me – so that I can write more about my life. So maybe you will see them someday and remember your little Murph !

This week-end we were lazy at home. We decided to explore the house and find some interesting things.

First  I tried to call you, but I didn’t know your number…



Then we found these strange things- Rike told us, that they were used for horses, which worked on farms. But we didn’t see any horses here.





At the end I played the trumpet – okay – it is not a trumpet. Who knows, what kind of instrument it is, can send us a PM….. Now I will play it, so Rike cannot sleep – it is so funny to be a ToyVoyager.

Hi Mum !

Today was Bree’s last day at Rike’s home, so Rike asked Bree, what she would love to do.
She wished to go onto the playground and have a nice time there.








Then it was time to say good-bye to Bree. We sat together in the lovely flowers. And especially dicker Kumpel hugged her !





I am so happy, that I can stay here for more days. Maybe forever?

Hi Mum,

Milala and Ninni  arrived at Rike’s home today – and there were Slummy, dicker Kumpel and me waiting for them!



Especially dicker Kumpel was so happy to see Ninni, one of his missions is it to welcome 5 other bunnies – and she is the first one.



We all will go on a cruise on the River Danube, there is very high water at the moment – so it will be an adventure!!!

Because we are nice TVs, we tried to help Rike to pack the bags.



We decided that long hippo and blue hippo should come with us.



Rike wasn’t that lucky with our idea, so we decided to need some games…



Help, what is that? Rike told us something, like – you are not really helpful - and put us in this nice basket…



…and now????  She had a strange smile in her face and brought us in the garden…





Well, we cannot help her now – but because we are ToyVoyagers, we will start to talk and talk and talk.

We started our tour in Passau. We explored the wonderful city and started with the Passauer Dom.



Then we saw this lovely fountain with the beautiful building.



Over the Danube we saw the Veste Oberhaus on the hill – it has a very long wall.



Do you know, that the Danube is the second longest river of Europe? And I will make a cruise on it – it is amazing !!!

This morning we spent in Passau again. We had a beautiful view over the Danube.



Because Rike know, that we wouldn't love the boring long trip with the bus in the afternoon, we were allowed to play and we saw a great car of the fire department.





Here we are on the long trip from Passau to Budapest. But we had fun – ToyVoyagers have always fun.

We are in the capital of Hungary – normally it is sunny here, but we have an adventure trip, so we have been in a big thunderstorm with a lot of rain. Can you see me under the umbrella?



We went back onto the ship – and found our bed that pretty !





After the dinner we had much better weather, so we went out. This is our ship – the Arosa Bella.





This is the most famous bridge in Budapest. Really pretty !





Postboxes are really funny here – we loved them.

Today we made a trip with the bus, because we wanted to see the Donau-Knee. You will see it on one of the photos. First we visited a small village, where many artists live. It has a nice church – and a great place.






Then we went to a big Fortress, called Visegrad. We saw the Donau-Knee there, And later, from the place, where we had dinner, we saw the Fortress,







We drove to the cathedral of  Esztergom, one of the largest churches of Europe. It was amazing. When we stood next to it, we saw our ship in the Danube. Of course I wanted a photo !



Back on the ship, we made a photo of  the cathedral of  Esztergom. Isn't it beautiful? After it, we played on the ship.
