Twanoh State Park; Belfair, WA, U.S.A. - 27th July 2008
By: knittycent
Well, heellloooooo there! This is Riley the Liger, saying hi from the lovely Twanoh State Park in Belfair, WA! My mom, Anna, took me here today before I ship off to Virginia in the morning. It's gonna be tough, my first trip away from home and all, but I think it'll be fun. Anywho, as you can see in the picture, my mom's crocheted me this neato cropped jacket and pinned me with a pin from my home state (just in case I forget).
Before making the walk over to the seashore for a photo shoot, I had to stop and get a drink of water.
It rained later on, but boy was it hot earlier today!
I read a little history about the park in the area, than rain down to the seashore with my good buddy, Jimmy Early, for some fun in the Western Washington sun!
It was sooooo windy when we got to the seashore that my buddy Jimmy Early and I had to huddle against each other to keep from falling over into the water below! Good thing I used gel in my mane today!
After that, we decided to sit on top of the seashells, mere inches from the water! The wind really picked up then, it was tough posing, but mom got the good action shots.
I'll leave you with a panned out shot of Jimmy Early and I on the seashore. See, isn't the waterway huge?
Mom said it was time to go after a little while, but we sure had fun. I've got one more post in me some time tomorrow once mom mails me off at the post office. I'll see ya then.
