Travelog for: Stuart the Lion

The next day we headed back home but first we visited the Moominvalley of the Tampere Art Museum. On the way there we saw this nice church - we tried to find information on it in the Tampere tourism website but we didn't have any luck. Anyway, we weren't allowed to take photos in the Moominvalley exhibitions but we could take a few in the first hallway and in the "event room" where that game was.

While walking towards the train station we met the Moomin! And we took some photos of the area but I was more excited to see the Moomin!

This had been an exciting weekend and I'm going to rest in an envelope: I'm leaving to Switzerland tommorow!

Well here is the very nice view And there is another TV here - Glory who is very nice. We are already good friends and we had good fun riding around on a cow. 

Well here I am walking in the mountains - the scenery is amazing and we are so high we were walking through the clouds. I was a real mountain lion!!Roooaaarrrr

Here are more pictures of me enjoying the scenery. I thought I would climb a tree to get a better view. Do lions climb trees? It´s more difficult than it looks. AArrrrggghhhh!

We went up the mountain with the steepest cog railway in the world but the view from the top was not that good because of the pesky clouds. Grrrrrrrrrrr

We went on another trip up a big cable car. Annbear is completely lying if she says I was frightened. I`m a brave mountain lion so there.

I arrived to Guargacho, Tenerife a couple of days ago but I haven't had a chance to update until now. Chip and Sportie were already waiting for me.


Then I met Katie, a very shy cat, she's hiding next to the curtain.


And then I met anothet cat, Felix. He's a very playful and friendly cat, just like us lions


I was taken outside to my host's terrace, the first thing I saw was some building work going on...


But the rest of the terrace seemed nice, there's a sauna and a jacuzzi there too And maybe we'll have a barbeque one day


Then we went to Guargacho health centre which is in quite a nice, green place.

Well that's all for now. On Sunday Katja's going to work after her over 2 week holiday so I will get to see her work place then.

Today I've been to my host's work, well I'm still here because we have to sleep here too as she's working through 24h so we won't be going home until 9 in the morning.


Katja works in a small clinic as an interpreter/receptionist/a bit of everything. This is her desk in the reception.

That's all for tonight, we're going to bed in 10 minutes. I'm just hoping that the phone won't ring too much during the night so that we can both sleep well

I'm sorry I haven't updated for a while. We just haven't really been doing anything special and we've always forgotten to take photos of the "normal" things like putting up a satellite dish, earring making, cooking, baking, etc.

Today we've been to a Chinese restaurant.


This is me at the Chinese restaurant. On the background you can see my host's boyfriend Dave. My nose is so big that you can't see my eyes...


That's me again with some soup, a mixture of tomato and hot&sour soup. That's how Katja likes it.


The food in the restaurant was served in buffet form so you could eat as much as you wanted so we had to go for a small walk after.

Today we've been for a long walk, about 10km. Katja asked her boyfriend to go to work in her car because she had to go to the post office and if she had had the car, we would have not walked there.

Today was a bank holiday in the area where my host's boyfriend works so he had the day off and we went to their bank which is in Torviscas.

Today we've been for a walk to go to the post office again.



Fridays are the main fly days to and from Tenerife and as we were walking just below the landing path, we saw lots of aeroplanes. Can you see the aeroplane on the sky?
