Veneta, Oregon, USA - 27th March 2008

By: BunTraveler

LongHaul Jake started his life in Veneta, Oregon and would now like to travel wtih you in your 18 wheeler across the highways of America.

He wants to see where you are going next.  Please include photos of all truck stops and roadside truck locations across America.

His favorite part of life is eating "biscuits and gravy" at either truck stops or quick stop markets.

Have Fun and Drive Safe!

Jake was set free today at a truckstop kiosk.  Hopefully he will get lucky enough to make contact with a truck driver stopping here for a rest before continuing up the interstate highway in Oregon.

He decided that he liked this truckstop area with the kiosk and all the truck driver information.

In the kiosk there is information about all the different places to visit in Oregon and how to get to the entertainment areas.
Then there are maps telling about the wetlands and wildlife information available for anyone stopping at the site.

Best of all,  they have a lot of "truck" magazines for truckers to read.  Lot's of FOR SALE trucks in the magazines and information about fixing your truck up to make it look super hot for driving down the highway!

There are places to eat your lunch if you brought it and machines for getting something to drink.

Jake liked this area as there was a lot to do while he waited and it was a great view of all the super looking trucks that pulled in here.

Let's hope Jake doesn't have to wait too long.
