Travelog for: Dijon

Soulac ist ein wunderschöner alter Badeort, der in früherer zeit sogar mal versandet war – dementsprechend gibt es das Jeune-Soulac weiter hinten. Irgendwo mussten die Menschen ja damals hin. Ganz krass fällt es aber auf, wenn man sich die Kathedrale im „alten“ Soulac anschaut – hier kann man noch genau sehen, dass das Bauwerk verbuddelt war. Heute bin ich aber erstmal an der tollen Strandpromenade von Soulac – hoppla! Hier gibt’s ja auch ne Freiheitsstatue?!?! Angeblich soll die der New Yorkerin, die ich im letzten Jahr besucht habe, genau in die Augen schauen… naja, wer‘s glaubt….

Soulac is a beautiful old bathing resort, which was even times silt up in earlier time - accordingly there is the Young Soulac farther back. Somewhere humans had at that time. Completely glaringly it is noticeable however, if one looks at oneself the cathedral in „the old “Soulac - here one can see still exact that the building was dug. Today I am however first times at the beautiful boardwalk of Soulac - hoppla! Here is also a freedom statue?!?! Allegedly that “girl” is looking exactly in the eyes of  those, which I visited in the last year… who believes ….

Soulac est un tres beau station balnéaire, au temps jadis il doit etre s’ensablé – pour ca il existe le Jeune Soulac. Les gens doit habiter quelque part. On peut voir plus quand on visite la cathedrale . #
Mais aujourdhuit je suis au promenade de la plage – flûte alors, ici je trouve aussi une statue de la liberté!?! Soi-disant qu’elle regarde dans les yeux de l’une, laquelle j’ai visité a New Your l’annee derniere…qui le crois…

Auch wenn Soulac nicht sonderlich groß ist, es birgt doch so manche Überraschung.
Nehmen wir zum Beispiel das alljährliche Fest „Soulac 1900“ (http://www.soulac1900.fr/) – wir werden ja bis dahin leider nicht mehr hier sein, aber wir sehen schon jetzt die Vorbereitungen. Hier gibt es sogar ein Geschäft, dass passende Kleidung anbietet – da mussten wir dann auch gleich reinschnuppern. Komisch, in Deutschland dürfen wir Hunde nirgendwo rein, aber hier war‘s kein Problem. Die Damen, die hier bedienen waren sogar ausgenommen freundlich. Tolle Sachen haben die hier. Sie erzählten uns dann noch, dass dieses Jahr sogar ein Eifelturm von einem Sponsor zur Verfügung gestellt würde. (Nun ja, wenn der Ort schon eine Freiheitsstatue hat, warum nicht auch einen Eifelturm…). Jetzt entdecken wir die Ankündigung auch auf den Plakaten. Wenn alles klappt, werden wir den Turm allerdings zu sehen bekommen. Der soll nämlich kurz vor Bordeaux auf einem Firmengelände auf seinen Abtransport nach Soulac warten.
Bei unsrem Stadtrundgang schauen wir uns dann noch die Markthalle, das Rathaus, die Kirmeswagen und die Kathedrale an – am schönsten finde ich aber die kleinen alten Häuschen, die hier überall noch stehen. Zu der Kathedrale wurde mir noch was Eigenartiges erzählt: Angeblich sollen in der Zeit, als sie vom Sand verschüttet war, nur noch ein Stückchen von Turm rausgeschaut haben – und da wollen die Soulacesen ihre Pferde angebunden haben!! Nun ja, dort sind tatsächlich Ringe angebracht, aber ich halte das trotzdem für reichlich Seemannsgarn…
Als wir noch zum Strand gehen, ziehen auf einmal dunkle Wolken auf. Also ab zurück zum Campingplatz.
Dort war‘ss schon wieder besser, so dass wir noch richtig schön verstecken spielen konnten.

Even if Soulac is not particularly large, it saves nevertheless some surprise. We take for example the annual celebration „to Soulac 1900 “(http://www.soulac1900.fr/) - we will be up to then unfortunately no longer here, but we see already the preparations. Here is even a business that suitable clothes offer - there we had then also directly sniff in it. Amusingly, in Germany we may not do dogs anywhere purely, but `s was not a problem here. The ladies, those serve here were even exceptionally friendly. Excelent things have those here. They told us then still that this year even an Eifel tower was placed from a sponsor to the order. (Now, if the place has already a freedom statue, why not also an Eifel tower…). Now we discover the announcement also on the posters. If everything folds, we the tower however to see to get. That is to wait shortly before Bordeaux on a firm area for its evacuation after Soulac. In our city round course we look then still the market hall, the city hall, the fun fair and the cathedral on are I however the small old little houses, which here everywhere still most beautiful. To the cathedral me still which strange one told: Allegedly are in the time, when it was buried by the sand, only a bit of tower look out - and there the “Soulacese” wants to have tied up their horses!! Now, there actually rings are appropriate, but I hold nevertheless for a cock-and-bull story…
When we go still to the beach, at one time dark clouds draw up. Thus off back to the camping site. There wars already again better, so that we hide still correctly beautifully play could. Which for a beautiful day!

Même si le Soulac n'est pas particulièrement grand, il sauve quand même ainsi quelque surprise. Prenons par exemple la célébration annuelle „Soulac 1900 « (http://www.soulac1900.fr/) – ou nous ne serons pas ici malheureusement, mais nous voyons déjà les préparations. Ici, il y a même une affaire que des vêtements convenables offrent - là nous devions alors aussi tout de suite humer dedans. Bizarrement, en Allemagne nous pouvons des chiens nulle part purement, mais ici ca n'était un problème. Les dames qui servent ici étaient exceptionnellement même aimablement. Des choses super ont ici ceux. Il vous a alors encore dits nous que cette année même une Tour-Eiffel serait mise à la disposition par un sponsor. (Puisque oui, si la place a déjà un Freiheitsstatue, pourquoi pas aussi une Eifel-tour…). Nous découvrons maintenant aussi l'annonce sur les affiches. Si tout réussit, nous verrons toutefois la tour obtenir. Celui doit attendre en effet peu avant des Bordeaux sur un terrain d'entreprise son évacuation après des Soulac. Avec un cours rond rond, nous regardons encore le marché couvert, l'hôtel de ville, la kermesse et la cathédrale nous trouvons alors toutefois moi les petites vieilles maisonnettes qui sont ici partout encore les plus belles. En plus de la cathédrale, moi encore ce qui dit étrange est devenu : Prétendument devoir dans le temps, quand elle a été ruinée par le sable, seulement ont voulu un morceau de tour - et là les „Soulacese“ leurs chevaux avoir relié ! ! Maintenant, en effet des anneaux sont, là opportuns que je considère toutefois malgré tout cela comme raconter des histoires fabuleuses… Quand nous allons encore au plage, foncé des nuages élaborent immédiatement. Ainsi à partir de retour au terrain de camping. Là wars déjà encore mieux, de sorte que nous dissimulons encore correctement bien jouer pouvions. Qu'un beau jour !

Edgar a trouvé une lampe de poche et il nous lit un livre. à haute voix pendant la nuit – c’était tres passionnant!

Boah, war das heute ein toller Tag!!! Zuerst haben wir mit Nico gekocht und durften dann an den Strand. Ich habe für Bona eine ganz tolle Sandburg gebaut, dafür hat sie uns im Sand verewigt (nun ja, bis zur nächsten Flut). Zum Schluss haben wir noch ein letztes Mal einträchtig  am Strand auf den Sonnenuntergang gewartet. Morgen geht’s nämlich schon wieder weiter. Wir fahren nun noch weiter südlich nach Lit-et-Mixe. Dort findet das 2CV-Nationaltreffen statt. Das wird ein Spaß.

Boah, what a super day!!! First we cooked with Nico and than can go to the beach. I built a completely beautiful sandcastle for Bona. And she  immortalize us in the sand (Well, up to the next flood). In the end we waited still another last mark in-pregnant at the beach for the sunset. Tomorrow it continues already again. We drive now still further south to Lit-et-Mixe. There the 2CV-Nationaltreffen takes place. That becomes a fun.

Boah, aujourd'hui c’ était un jour superbe ! ! ! Nous avons cuit d'abord avec des Nico et pouvions aller  au plage. J'ai construit un château de sable tout à fait beau pour ma belle Bona. Mais elle a perpétué nous dans le sable (puisque oui, jusqu'à la prochaine marée). À la conclusion, nous avons encore une dernière fois attendu unie au plage le coucher du soleil. Demain il continue en effet déjà du nouveau. Nous allons maintenant encore plus loin au sud à Lit-et-Mixe. Là, la rencontre nationele de 2CV ont lieu. Cela devient un amusement.

Wir haben das Eifelturm-Double tatsächlich gefunden! Auf dem Weg von Soulac nach Lit-et-Mixe steht er kurz vor Bordeaux auf einem Firmengelände – bereit zum Abtransport zum großen Fest in Soulac Anfang Juni. Echt schade, dass wir nicht dabei sein können. Aber gut, dass er doch so groß ist, dass man ihn wirklich nicht übersehen kann.

We found the Eifel-tower-double actual! On the way from Soulac to Lit-et-Mixe it stands shortly before Bordeaux on one firm-area - arisen ready for the evacuation for the large celebration in Soulac at the beginning of of June. Genuinly it harms that we cannot be thereby. But well that it is nevertheless so large that one cannot survey it really.

Nous avons trouvé en effet le double du Tour-Eiffel! Il est prêt de manière des Soulac après des Lit-et-Mixe peu avant des Bordeaux sur un terrain d’une entreprise.Et il attend à l'évacuation à la grande célébration dans les Soulac début juin. Il nuit véritablement que nous ne pouvons pas participer. Mais bien qu'il est quand même si grand qu'on ne peut pas vraiment l'examiner.

Wir sind auf dem diesjährigen französischen Nationaltreffen des 2CV und – es ist chaotisch! Da man nicht alle Teilnehmer auf einem Campingplatz unterbringen konnte, müssen sich die Leute auf drei Stück verteilen. Natürlich wollen alle auf den Camping d‘univers, der am nächsten zur Aktionsfläche liegt. Hier hat man auch den Vorteil, mit einem Touri-Zug jederzeit hin-und hergefahren zu werden. Es gab zwar einige Probleme, aber wir haben ein Plätzchen hier gefunden. Andere dagegen haben bis zu 10 km Entfernung zum eigentlichen Treffenplatz und der angebotene Bustransfer findet nur zweimal täglich statt. Abgesehen davon passen nicht alle 1.000 Teilnehmer in einen Bus… Somit müssen die Leutchen mit dem 2CV hin und her fahren – und dürfen keinen Alkohol trinken! Angeblich wurden am ersten Tag bereits zwei Führerscheine einkassiert von der Polizei. Nun ja, es wohnen hier ja auch „normale Leute“ und vor allem deren Kinder. Die können ja auch nichts dafür, dass sie dort wohnen, wo wir feiern wollen.
Heute haben wir jedenfalls mal nen Ausflug zu dem entlegenen Campingplatz gemacht und sind dort auch gleich mal an den Strand gegangen. Schön isses hier, hat aber wenig mit dem Event zu tun, für den man über 1200 km gefahren ist….

We are at the French national meeting of this year of the 2CV and - it is chaotic! Since one could accommodate not all participants on a camping site, the people must distribute themselves on three pieces. Naturally all want on " Camping D `Univers" , which lies next to the action surface. Here one has also the advantage with a tourist course at any time and be driven. There were some problems, but we found here a little place. Others against it have distance to the actual meeting place and the offered bus transfer up to 10 km take place only twice daily. Apart from the fact not all 1.000 participants fit into a bus… Thus the people with the 2CV must back and forth drive - and may drink no alcohol! Allegedly on the first day already two driving licences in-taken of the police. Now, here also „normal people “and above all their children live. Those can do also nothing for the fact that they live, where we want to celebrate our big party. Today we made anyhow times a trip the remote camping site and went there also directly times to the beach. Beautifully it is, has however little here with the Event to do, for which one drove over 1200 km….

Nous sommes à la réunion nationale française de cette année du 2CV et - il est chaotique ! Puisqu'on ne pouvait pas héberger tous les participants sur un terrain de camping, les personnes doivent se répartir sur trois campings. Naturellement, tous veulent au „Camping d `Univers" ; à la surface d'action on se trouve le plus prochain. Ici, on a aussi l'avantage de devenir avec un train de touriste du camping chez les activites. Il y a certes eu quelques problèmes, mais nous avons trouvé ici un petit emplacement. D'autres en revanche n'ont jusqu'à 10 km distance à la place de réunion réelle et le transfert d'autobus offert ont lieu que tous les jours deux fois. Outre tous les 1.000 participants n'installent pas dans un seul autobus… Ainsi les gens avec le 2CV doivent conduire en avant et en arrière - et ne peuvent pas boire d'alcool ! Déjà deux permis de conduire sont devenus prétendus de la police le premier jour.Bon, „des personnes normales « et surtout leurs enfants habitent aussi ici. Ceux ne peuvent aussi rien pour qu'ils habitent là, où nous voulons célébrer la grande fete. Aujourd'hui, nous avons fait une excursion au terrain de camping pres de la plage et on visite aussi la plage. Il est beau ici, mais toutefois pas ca, pour lequel on est allé plus de 1200 km….

Wegen der Hitze können wir auch erst nachmittags auf dem Treffenplatz eine große Runde drehen. Siegfried war mit mir morgens zwar auch schon auf dem Teilemarkt, aber wir hatten die Kamera nicht dabei. Schön, dass es hier soooo viele Enten gibt, an denen man sein „Bein heben“ kann“…

Because of the heat we can walk also only in the afternoon at the meeting place a large round. Siegfried in the morning already was with me on the partial market, but we did not have the camera thereby. Beautifully that there are here so many 2CVs, at which one lifts its „leg “can “…

À cause de la chaleur nous pouvons aussi marcher seulement l'après-midi sur la place de réunion de grandes négociations. Le Siegfried était le matin certes déjà aussi avec moi sur le marché partiel, mais nous n'avons pas eu la caméra. Bien qu'il y a ici si beaucoup 2CVs, auxquelles on peut sa „jambe soulever"…

Schade, die Schönwetterfront an der Atlantikküste ist nun anscheinend vorbei – daher haben wir uns entschlossen, die letzte Urlaubswoche zu Hause zu verbringen. Auf dem Heimweg haben wir dann nicht mehr den Zeltanhänger aufgeklappt, sondern ganz faul ein Zimmer genommen. Während Nico & Siggi duschen gegangen sind, hatten wir jede Menge Spaß im Zimmer…

Unfortunate, the fair weather front at the Atlantic coast is now apparent past - therefore we decided to spend the last vacation week at home. On the way home we don’t like to open the tent supporter, but took completely putridly a room. During Nico & Siggi went to have a shower, we had a lot of fun in the room…

Dommage, l'avant de temps beau à la côte atlantique est maintenant apparemment au delà - c'est pourquoi a nous s'est décidé à passer à la maison la dernière semaine de congé. Sur la manière de maison nous n'avons ouvert alors plus la remorque de tente, mais avons pris tout à fait putréfié une place. Pendant des Nico & ; Des Siggi douchent sont allés, ont eu nous chaque quantité un amusement dans la place…

Wir haben wieder mit Mümmel verstecken gespielt.. hihi.. Auf einmal klingelts an der Tür. Was ist denn da unter dem Tor erkennbar? Hey, ich glaub, wir bekommen Besuch aus Russland: Cassiopeia ist endlich da!!!!
Ich wurde natürlich zuerst begrüßt, weil Casio auch meine Reiseberichte liest und mich direkt erkannt hat. Aber nachher hat sie richtig Spass an Edgar gehabt, weil er fast genau so schön bunt ist wie sie.
Natürlich hat sie sich auch gleich Nicos 2CV angeschaut, mit dem wir am Wochenende ins Erzgebirge und anschließend aufs 2CV-Welttreffen in Most/CZ  (http://www.2cv2009.cz/) reisen wollen. Edgar hat sie natürlich auch gleich vollgequasselt und ihr alles erklärt.
Prima, die scheint ja richtig gut drauf zu sein… das wird sicher lustig.. auch wenn Bona nicht mitfahren wird. Irgendwer muss ja schließlich auf Siggi aufpassen. ;o)

We play with Mümmel again hide-and-seek an the door is ringing. Its funy that we can see our guest under the door in the court. I think, thers coming someone from Russia: Casiopeia is here in Saffig!!
Normaly, Im the first to appreciate, while she knows my travelogues. But she likes the colours of Edgar very much. He shows her also the 2Cv, that takes us the next week-end to the Erz Mountains and next week to the international meeting of 2CV in Most/CZ. (http://www.2cv2009.cz/)

jouer dans la cour, il sonne. Je peut voir quelqu’un sous la porte. Eh, je crois, c’est notre nouvel copain qui vient de Russie: Casiopeia est la!
Je suis le premier qui peut dire bonjour – elle connais mes reportage de voyage, bien sur! Mais elle aime aussi les coleurs de Edgar qui la montre la 2cv, avec quelle on va le week-end prochaine au “Erzgebirge”( l'une des montagnes hercyniennes) et la semaine prochaine sur la rencontre international de 2CV a Most/CZ (http://www.2cv2009.cz/)

Juchuh, es geht los!!! Heute fahren wir erstmal ins Erzgebirge. Nico will sich in Seiffen auf dem Campingplatz mit Tanja und Birgit treffen. Die beiden sind bereits seit Donnerstag dort. Cassio, Mümmel, Edgar, Ludmilla, Nico und ich werden nun zwei Nächte im 2CV pennen. Siggi und Nico haben extra für solche Übernachtungen passende Vorhänge genäht. Mir persönlich wärs ja egal. Ich brauch sowas nicht.

Yepp, it‘s going on! Today we travel to the Erz Mountains. Nico will meet Tanja and Birgit there on a camping place. The others are there since Thursday. Cassio, Mümmel, Edgar, Ludmilla, Nico and I will sleep in the 2CV. Siggi and Nico had made some curtains. I dont need them, but it‘s ok.

Super, l‘aventure commence! Aujourdhuit nous allons dans le “Erzgebirge”( l'une des montagnes hercyniennes) . Nico va visiter Tanja et Birgit sur un terrain de camping a Seiffen. Les deux sont deja labas depuis jeudi.  Cassio, Mümmel, Edgar, Ludmilla, Nico et moi se couchent dans la deuche. Siggi et Nico ont executent des rideaux. Je ne besoin pas des trucs comme ca, mais c‘est Ok.

Heute dürfen Cassiopeia und ich mit Birgit und Nico um den Ahornberg wandern… nun gut, die beiden Menschen wandern und für meine Reisegefährtin und mich gibt’s einen gemütlichen Platz im Rucksack. Zu viel und anstrengendes laufen ist ja bekanntlich für kurze Dackelbeine nicht so gut und bei Cassio… nun , nichts für ungut, aber wann wollten wir dann zurück sein? Also für einen Dackel ist es wirklich wundervoll im Erzgebirge!

Today Cassiopeia and I may walk with Birgit and Nico around the maple mountain… now good, two humans walk and for my travel companion and me it gives a cosy place in the backpack. Too much and arduous run is as well not so good for short teckel-leggs and with Cassio… now, nothing for bad, but when we wanted to be back with her? For a sausage dog it is really wonderful in the “ore mountains”!

Aujourd'hui, Cassiopeia et moi-même peuvent balader avec Brigitte et Nico autour de la montagne d'érable … bien, les deux femmes marchent et pour nous deux il y a une place intime dans le sac a dos. En plus marcher beaucoup, c’est ne pas bien pour les jambes courtes et avec des Cassio… rien de mauvais, mais quand nous voulions alors être de retour avec elle? Ainsi pour un saucisson en pattes il est superbeau dans l'Erzgebirge !

Das mit dem Stadtbummel hab ich nicht so ganz verstanden: warum wollen Birgit und Nico noch in diesen zugegebenermaßen schnuckeligen Ort? Die meisten der Geschäfte haben nach 16:00 Uhr glatt schon geschlossen, spätestens aber ab 17:00 Uhr. Es nutzt dann wenig, wenn das Parken kostenfrei ist. ;o)

I do not unterstood our city-stroll so completely: why do Birgit and Nico want still into this admittedly lovely place? Most of the business already closed after 16:00 clock, at the latest however starting to close from 17:00 clock. It uses few if parking is free.

Je ne peut pas comprendre la visite du ville tout à fait : pourquoi veulentelles Brigitte et Nico encore dans cette jolie centre ville ? La plupart des affaires ont déjà fermé après 16:00h, au plus tard toutefois ils ferment leurs magasins et musees à partir de 17:00 heure. Ca aide pas quand se garer est libre a partir de 17h.

Ein Traum wird wahr – im Fieselregen fahren wir mit Nico über die Grenze nach Tschechien und schon nach kurzer Zeit haben wir unser Ziel gefunden: Das diesjährige 2CV-Welttreffen in Most!!
Wir sind recht früh, somit stehen wir mit den ersten 20 Enten des Tages an und um Punkt 10 wird geöffnet. Die Abwicklung geht superschnell und los geht’s, die anderen vom Entenstammtisch suchen.
Als wir den reservierten Platz finden, baut Cassiopeia unser Zelt auf (Toll macht sie das) und ich als Dackel sondiere die Lage und bewache alles. ;o)
Alles ist hier sehr aufregend, weil massenhaft Neuankömmlinge einen Platz suchen und Nico ständig ihre Ente an eine andere Stelle fahren soll.
Abends gehen wir dann mal rüber zur Amüsiermeile. Tolle Sachen gibt’s hier. Aber Nico hat Kopfweh und wir gehen heute früh auf die Luftmatratze. Hoffentlich hält die meine Krallen aus und geht nicht kaputt.

Yeah! Now, we can go to CZ for the international Wolrdmeeting of 2CV. We are very early and can go in it with the first twenty cars of the day.
After finding our friends, Cassiopeias buit out tent and I lokk around. Ist very exciting while there are coming many cars who search a nice place.
In the evening we go to the party, ist very nice here, but nico had a headahe and wants to go sleeping.. I must be ver carefully on the airbed with my claws.

Super! Aujourdhuit, nous passons la frontiere Tscheque pour visiter la mondiale concentration de 2Cv a Most. Il pleut un peut, mais pas grave! Nous sommes tres tot a l‘acceuil et trouvent les copains de Nico, qui ont reserve un emplacement pour nous. Il arrete pleuvoir quand Cassiopeia commence construire notre tent. Je suis un chien et je commence faire attention et regarder tout.
Le soir nous allons ensemble dans la zone d‘activites. Il y a beaucoup a voir – manifique! Mais Nico a mal a la tete et veut dormir assez tot.
