Miami, Florida, USA - 28th January 2008

I went out to dinner at the Melting Pot with a gang of Toy Voyagers tonight. Fondue is not exactly a monster thing to eat, but I was told to be polite for a change and entertain our guests.
Here I am with the gang:
The only fun I had was when I tried to push Mittens into the chocolate fondue:

Pineland Cemetery, Miami, USA - 30th January 2008
By: carlissa
Billy Goat and I went to visit Pinewood Cemetery today. It's the oldest cemetery in the Miami area. It was too pretty for my taste; I'd rather have seen a creepier cemetery! We only saw one gravestone! Where did all the rest go? I wonder if the vandals stole them? Now that sounds like my kind of fun!
Anyway, here we are at the entrance:
Here we are on the gravestone:

Calne, Wiltshire - 10th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
Well, I arrived safely and am raring to go ghost hunting. Helly has been on the internet and found lots of places for me to visit.
First however, I wished a bundle of toy voyagers good luck as they set off to be released into the wild.

Wroughton, Wiltshire - 11th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
A strange thing happened today...
I set off with the mist rising over the hills. I travelled to Wroughton to a local church which is supposed to be haunted.
When I got there Helly went to take the photo and the camera switched on, the button pressed, but it didn't take a photo. She switched the camera off and then back on again but still it wouldn't take a photo.
Back at the office she tried again and it took a perfect photo.

Marlborough, England - 11th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
Then I went with Helly to visit one of her residential homes. Whilst there she found out the building is haunted by the ghost of an elderly, grey man.
Out came the camera, on it went, down went the button . . . no picture.
Back at the office later it took another perfect photo.

Lacock, England - 11th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
Well, after all that excitement - and no photos - I set off to Lacock to view a haunted pub. Except that . . .yes, you've guessed it, the camera wouldn't take a photo and has refused to take one ever since. . . . how spooky is that?
So, tomorrow, armed with Steve's camera, we'll have to do it all over again!

Avebury, Wiltshire - 12th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
I was so excited this morning, I bounced on the front seat of the car all the way to Avebury.
The first place I visited was The Red Lion Pub.
The most famous ghost here is Florrie. Her jealous husband found her in bed with another man and dropped her down a well. Customers and staff have seen her, including many times in the ladies toilet. She is always dressed in black. A previous land lady reported that Florrie threw salt and pepper over tables and chairs.
One visitor to the pub witnessed a spinning chandeler with a bearded man sat underneath it and ghostly horse drawn carriages have been seen pulling up outside the 16th Century pub.
Recently a photographer took a photo and caught a reflection in a mirror of a bald, pale faced man with streaks of blood on him. This may be the man who was murdered after hiding peasants in the cellar and then double crossing them.
Finally . . . wow, what a lot of ghosts! Some famous investigators visited the pub for a TV programme. They felt the presence of a child or children in one of the bedrooms and the presenter ran from the same room when she felt her hair being touched!
I managed to get well and truely spooked and it was daylight. I think I'd like to visit after dark . . . or maybe not!

Avebury, Engalnd - 12th February 2008

Well, whilst here in Avebury I couldn't stop and not see the stones, and there have been sightings of ghosts here too.
Small figures, often mistaken as children, have been seen dancing around the stones.

Wroughton, England - 15th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
Back to the haunted graveyard today.
It is said that the figure of a woman has been seen by the yew trees infront of St. John the Baptist and St. Helen Church by several people.
I looked and I looked but I couldn't see her. In fact I was disappointed because it was a very beautiful spot and I didn't feel spooked at all.

Devizes, England - 24th February 2008
By: Steve & Helly
I've had a rest this week, both Helly & Steve have been on courses until after 8.00 each night so it was good to get out ghost hunting today.
The pub you can see once was joined to the building next door. The corridor has since been bricked up. However, customers and staff have regularly seen the ghostly figure of a lady walking through the corridor, and . . . you've guessed it . . . passing straight through the wall!

Devizes, England - 25th February 2008

Also in Devizes there's the old market cross.
Many many years ago a woman was accused of stealing. She was taken to the cross for her case to be heard. In her defense she said 'If I am guilty may God strike me down'. At that exact moment she fell down dead.
It is said her ghost can often be seen around the place where she died.
Ohh, this is so exciting, I love ghost hunting!

Calne, Wiltshire - 5th March 2008
By: Steve & Helly
Hurrah,
The sun is shining and I'm off to visit a haunted house today.
I'm so excited, I started off my looking into the garden to see if Steve & Helly had any ghosts there.
I didn't see any however. Helly told me to be patient as I only had two hours to wait.
