Porvoo, Finland - 30th April 2010

Today we threw a suprise party for Leonard. He had his birthday a while ago but our host forgot it!  Leonard has been here for a year now and is scheduled to leave soon. He managed to get into Number 1 in the top10 of "most photos in a travelog" - that was also a thing worth celebrating! The balloon figures are made by our host, she just learned the skill...

Lahti, Finland - 23rd October 2010

On this fine autumn day I visited Lahti, a city about 1,5h drive north from Porvoo. My host attended a Postcrossing meetup there. They had coffee, wrote postcards, bought postcards and had a simulation ski-jump contest which my host won!

Happy Independence Day Finland!
My host decided to put me back on the FosterCareHome side again as my owner hasn't logged in since May. I don't care where I am officially as I play with the same friends and sit on the same table for dinner as before
