Hello my dears!

My name is Trudi and I am a green hairy hippo! Already as a little baby hippo I wanted to see the whole world!



I tried to travel the world by boat but unfortunately I am afraid of getting sea sick....



After that I wanted to go by car but have you seen the petrol prices these days???



I also tried a motorcycle....



but I think I am not that talented....



To travel on foot is even worse! Help!



I am really afraid of getting lost!



And the accomodation was always bad!



So my mommy told me to look for nice people who host me and take care of me. I am really curious to see the world!

Now I am going on my first trip to the Netherlands!
And I am looking for far more people who can show me their world!

that was a realllllly quick travel! I only was away for one night! And I wasn't even scared!

I have arrived at Wolletjes' place right now, but she's on her way to you! So maybe our airplanes crossed in mid-air?

Today I'll get some rest from Panienka. She's busy and having troubles with some bills. But she promised me to go out into town or to the beach later today. AND, we are going to France on January 4th! I'm gonna learn French!

Hello!!!!!

Happy New Year mum!
This time a short message from Delft. My host and I went to her boyfriend's place to celebrate New Year's eve. We've had a lot of fun, only the three of us. But I don't have any pictures with fire works...you know why...there was SO MUCH fogg here, we couldn't see anything! Bummer!

Tomorrow we are leaving for The Hague again, but first we will make a stop at the house of my hosts parents. And we will take the train back! I think I'll get a little tour around the Hague thursday! And Friday we'll be leaving for France! WOW! Towards the snow!

Oh and I've been to the beach too! That was SO COOL! Really. really big waves! And the sun was shining too! But it was a little cold...

I hope I can put some photo's online tomorrow, the've forgotten the cables and all!

Hello Mom!

I'm back in The Hague again! And I've got loads of photo's!
First of all, the photo's of my first days in The Hague. We went for a smoothie and for a stroopwafel (in my notebook I'll let my host explain what that is).




During New Year's Eve it was too foggy to see any fire works so whe stayed at home.


But at 12 I really wanted to send you a message but the server was too busy!




Later that week we went to the beach but my host didn't upload the photo's yet. She's lost the cable. But anyway, I've got already some photo's for you from the holiday in the French Alps. I only have one photo with snow. It was way too cold to go outside every day. So I guarded the apartment and they've made me some really, really nice pictures from inside the apartment!



We were fully packed, waiting for the bus at the station!




this is how the view from the apartment looked like! It was really, really cool!




I even learned to play cards! And we went for a hot chocolate!


Well, as you can see I've really enjoyed it all!
Now my host will take me to some more (famous) places here in The Hague and when my notebook is finished, I am ready to move on!

Hello there!

Well, I've been told that this is going to be my last photo-update from Holland! My host just has to finish my notebook and she'll send me to the USA! Whooohooo!

I've done a lot of things at home last days, my host was really busy studying for exams and stuff. And I even went to a wedding with her! Unfortunately the bride and groom were too busy to take a photo with me, but I'm on the photo with her flowers! That's cool too, isn't it?

Well, here is an impression of my photo's. I hope you like them!

This is me at the Dutch beach in Scheveningen! I really, really liked it but it was freezingly cold!




I got to learn Spanish too! That was sooooo cool!


And I've helped writing some letters too! But I was sooo tired that I had to use glases too!



I got to meet the family of Wolletje too! They are sooo cute and friendly, I really liked them!


Well, this is it for now! Thanks for sending me here! I'll let you know when I'll be leaving for the USA!

Hi Mom

I have arrived in Australia. It was a longer journey then usual. Sam tells me the mail from USA to Australia is getting slower, she is not sure why though.

I was greeted with a beautiful bunch of Australian flowers.

I found an unusal egg under the flowers. Looks like a Dinosuar egg! Me and the other visiting voyagers are keeping a close watch to see what hatches.
