I came home from Buntraveler's house for a VERY QUICK rest before I head out again.
I met  Holiday Harry and Billy Goat (he is still waithing for his ID) when I got home.

Finally I am on my my way to Cosmica.

Hooray! I've finally arrived to Novosibirsk, Russia! It was a really long trip, sometimes I thought I would never end. But! But I'm here and I was surprised to be welcomed so kindly!
I've met Archibald and Isambard here.



We decided not to waste any time and went to the Birchwood, Archibald told me there were many merry-go-rounds there. It turned out to be absolutely true!







Then suddenly I saw a donkey! He was so cute and sad, I wished I'd had a carrot with me.

After all this fun with merry-go-rounds we went to a momument devoted to the Great Patriotic War. We felt solemn!



People bring flowers to the monument as a tribute to the memory of  all the heroes who defended the country and died in the war.



And this is the other side of the wall. It shows a Russian soldier confronting with a fascist. It makes everyone feel what an ordeal it was for the Russian soldiers.



And just look at this wonderful fur-trees. I was really impressed by their festive look!



Then out camera acidentally fell in snow and we decided to go home and have some tea.
I think I will like this city!

This week I visited one more park - Pervomaysky Park. There are many fur-trees and birches all covered with snow.



One tree had absolutely red branches!



St. Valentine's Day is coming soon and Novosibirsk already has a symbol for it - many newly-weds come here to make a photo!



Here you can see a part of Novosibirsk Regional Museum. It is located in a very old building constructed in the 19th century. That time all the building along this street were built of red stone so the street was named Krasny (Red) Prospect.



This is Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. It is huge and impressive. This building is one of the symbols of Novosibirsk.



And this statuary in from of Opera and Ballet Theatre is a common meeting point for many young couples.

Some days ago we've been to a wonderful place. There was a Novosibirsk Showing of Art Dolls in the local Art Museum. I saw many hand-made dolls, teddy-bears and robots, big and small, funny and sad-looking. It was a very interesting event. Please see and enjoy!

And this is Ob river and the Novosibirsk Metro Bridge, it is the longest in Europe.

Everybody know that not so long ago we all celebrated St. Valentine's Day!
Vika offered and we all agreed to make Valentine Cards in honour of this wonderful day. It took some time but we've made very beautiful cards after all. 

On Sunday we went skating to Zaeltsovsky Park. It is a real forest!
