On the picture it's me in front of Sunshine's house. She doesn't live in a chalet in the mountains but it's a nice place in a quiet area near the center of Fribourg and near her university!

I went to New York City with Sunshine, Elle and Sunshine's friends! We spent 7 crazy days there!!
Here you can see Elle and myself in the hotel called Union Square Inn.

Latel this day we walked on the Brooklyn Bridge. Seeing New York was Sunshine's dream. She had never been in the USA before and as I'm from there, I could help her discovering my country!

I spent the following day at the hotel because it was Elle's turn to see NYC! I discovered the Metropolitan Museum the day after that. It's a huge, huge museum but sooo nice! The visit made me hungry, it was time for me to try a hotdog... Not that bad!

Bern, Switzerland - 24th July 2008

Back in Switzerland we went to Bern. Bern is the capital of the country and is only 20 minutes drive from Fribourg, where Sunshine lives. In Bern we went to Starbucks! You can see me drinking a Frapuccino and Elle had a Chae Latte!

Then we saw the Palais Fédéral (or Bundeshaus in German). It's the hous where the swiss government meets and the Place fédérale with the nice fountain.

Behind the Palais Fédérale there's a beautiful view of Bern and its surroundings. Very green, isnt' it? Bern has about 150'000 inhabitants and no high buildings. It was very different from New York!!
