Bruchsal, Germany - 11th July 2007
By: fam-united
Finally I have my own travelog. I'm so curious, what the times bring for me. Will I travel through mail or will I be set into the wild???? Nobody really knows it
I think, I will stay here in Bruchsal for a while and then see, whether I will travel to Germany's oldest city Trier. I think, it would be a good idea to start my "free" adventure there.

Bruchsal, Germany - 15th July 2007

I helped to bring more fun in Bongo's life again. You know, I'm a happy ape and so it's easy for me to have fun, especially when I eat water melon and take a bath in the sun.

Bruchsal, Germany - 30th July 2007
By: fam-united
Today we were on a sightseeing tour and saw the Belvedere, the palace and had a nice view over Bruchsal and the Rhine-valley.
1. You see the big tower behind me. That is the tower of the old castle. On the right side is the tower of the Stadtkirche (city church).
2. Here you see the baroque church St. Peter and not far away the big house on the right is St. Maria, both are close to where my hosts live.
3. Here you see the new and old building of the older people house just behind me and on the left side. Far behind on the left side is a big grey building. This is the catholic grammar school St. Paulusheim, in which all children of my hosts go next school year.
4. Next to the place where we took these photos is the park of the Belvedere, a baroque hunting lodge. I'm sad, that we took no photo of that, but here is a nice photo of me with one fountain, which is next to another grammar school.
5. I also love this photo of me with the linden tree.
6. Here I am in front of the mainbuilding of the baroque palace
7. Here is a view into a street next to the palace garden
8. Kids like to feed the ducks in this pond
9. Another part of the palace garden is the rose garden.

Untergrombach, Germany - 31st July 2007
By: fam-united
Here we are on the Michaelsberg, which belongs to Untergrombach, one of the suburbs of Bruchsal. We had a lovely view over the Rhine-valley. On the other side of the valley you can see the Palatinate mountains.
On the first photo you see a part of Bruchsal on the right side.
The nearest town you see here is Untergrombach. Petra liked to swim in the quarry pond, when she was a young girl.
The Michaelsberg is nature reserve area with many flowers and other plants. Normally you also see nice butterflies, but not this time.
Bruchsal is at the edge to the Kraichgau hill country and I hope, you can imagine, how it looks like, when you see the last photo.

Bruchsal, Germany - 2nd August 2007
By: fam-united
This is my last day here in Germany and then I will travel to Farmington, USA. I will not be alone on my journey, because Ballet Cindy decided to come with me.
Today we took the last photos of me with the baroque church St. Peter, the house Sancta Maria and some views over Bruchsal. Ok, the really last one is the photo with Ballet Cindy and me in the box and all other toyvoyagers standing around us and saying good bye.

Farmington, NM, USA - 22nd August 2007
By: wourpet
It was with great anticipation that Rosa, Blanche and the other toys all gathered around to see who had arrived. They didn't want to wait long since the box had been in the parcel compartment at the corner in the hot sun.
They were very excited to meet Holiday Harry and his traveling companion Ballet Cindy.
Holiday Harry is resting from the long trip but has one special visit planned before traveling on to Oregon.

Silverton Colorado, USA - 4th September 2007
By: wourpet
On our trip through the mountains we went into Silverton. It is nestled in a basin in the mountains but is still at 2804 M or 9199 Ft.
There is a little narrow guage railroad with a coal fired steam powered train that travels back and forth from Durango to Silverton. It was in town while we were there.
I am not in the picture taken from the road at the top of the mountain because I did not want to hang out of the window that far.

Today we headed back through the mountains. Our first stop was in Delta where I went for a walk in the park and through some very pretty flowers.

Veneta, Oregon, USA - 11th September 2007
By: BunTraveler
Hey! I think I have been here before. Things kind of look familiar.
Well, I've been to Germany and I am traveling all over the world now.
I was to be set free and now I am glad that I was not. I am having the time of my life knowing my travel plans just a bit better than before. I had a blast with my last host. I could do that again!
Here I am in Oregon USA and I will begin my adventures in just a few days. Seems like this is the place to visit.
There are great places to eat and a great big American traveling van to travel in. Can't wait to get started.
My mentor told me to keep a look out for my "old pals" Mooky and Bongo but I think they are on a voyage some place else around the world already. It is good though. Now I have my host all to myself.
See ya around!
Harry

Eugene, Oregon, USA - 12th September 2007
By: BunTraveler
Today Harry decided he wanted to learn how to make a movie of himself and of others by using the camera at the computer.
He told his host that he has always wanted to be an actor or director. Possibly both.
His host rolled her eyes knowing the movie will probably be called "Monkey Shines" or "Toyvoyagers I have Known".
Harry thought that was a great idea. Now---he must practice learning how to do this with a digital camera too.
He sees his host doing it all the time. It must not be all that hard.
Harry needs new subjects for practicing taking photos. He must learn how to focus the camera and create great ideas for his final product.
One day he thinks he will be a big name in the business of ToyVoyager movies. Maybe like his mentor the great "Dirty Harry".
Harry wants to travel the world taking photos of other toyvoyagers traveling and making a great movie one day.
What a grand idea!
