Travelog for: Bolla

Hi :-)
my name is Bolla (Italian word for "bubble"). I'm a curious and playful fish.
I'd like to visit all the oceans of the world, and meet a lot of adventurous fishes like me. I love everything related to fishes and sea, so feel free to photograph me also near aquariums!! But please, don't take me to sushi restaurants… I'm scared of them !! ;-)

Dear Mom

I just arrived in Croatia today...I still feel a little shy so I am just peeking out of the package to see what my new home looks like..

Oh I see a little blond girl..and some lady...they seem nice.. I think I am going to come out now...

My first day was great. They treat me like a prince. I even got my own castle to live in 

Remember the little blond girl I mentioned yesterday? Her name is Ema and she is my Princess 
You can also see my new living room. It's pink 
but I love it anyway hihi..
I also met some new friends :
-Granny Old McFish- she promised to take me to the beach...
-Teddy family...
- Zita Napolitana- she is also a toyvoyager,she is a girafe and she is crazy about our home country . Can you imagine that mum? I was thinking that exotic faraway countries are interesting and that our home is just home..but she says Italy is exotic for her..Hm?! Maybe I'll try to learn her a little bit Italian..that could be fun..
- ..I also met some others like turtle Greta, Pingi  the little penguin and zebra Zia...

I have invited them all to my new living room ,we had a nice time.

Tomorrow I will go to a big ethnic dance festival in a nearby town called Đakovo ..I am sooo excited ...Bye mom!

Hi mom

Today we went to see Đakovo town. It has a huge chatedral ,one of the biggest in  Croatia. It was also a festival day so it was really fun...lots of people,very colorfull,lots of music and dancing around ...I had a great time :-)

it is hard to describe all events there but basically in summertime, Đakovo celebrates by presenting three different aspects of Slavonia’s cultural tradition, integrated into a single event in July: 1.folklore, which the visitors can enjoy within numerous music programmes;
2.gastronomy, the highlights of its diversity being the famous fish stew( ughhh didn't like that part  )čobanac (shepherd’s stew) and Đakovo kulen( very hot salami)
3. horse breeding tradition( lipizzaner's), its splendor presented in the equestrian competitions at the Đakovo hippodrome.
I have seen Slavonia’s and Baranja’s cultural heritage, enjoyed thousands of folk costumes, music, dances and customs, all in colourful and merry festive procession.

I am sorry you haven't been here with me to see it all..

Today was a market day in Vinkovci.. I got my own shopping weels for that occasion ..

Lucky for me it is a "fish-friendly" market ..they don't have fish-products section there 

It was a nice day today .. we went into town for a walk..had a coffe in local coffe-shop..Auntie M. has bought me a hoola hoop- a yellow one so that I can play with Ema and my new friends...

Back home Zita showed me her weawing mill and teached me how to weawe on it..it was really cool to learn..

Tomorrow we are going on a christian childrens camp in another country, Serbia.. we will be there seven days but they told me they dont have internet connection there so I wont be posting..

Hi mom!

we returned after a week we spent in nature park Fruška gora , in Vrdnik, a small village surounded with hills and woods  in northern  Serbia...
Children's Christian camp we went to, was great.. I have met so many new friends since all the kids brought their "stuffed" friends with them ...at night when all the kids where sleeping we where all comming together and making a party hihi..  
I am so sorry I dont' have a lot of pictures to show you all my adventures there.. after only a few shoots camera brooke..
