Travelog for: Miia

Romek came to my home yesterday, and we became good friends after a small talk. He is from Poland where I always want to visit. 
After lunch I suddenly have a spark to make a t-shirt for him.
Let's get started!

This is the Military Museum. As you can see the building is under construction. I think I've been inside once when I was in middle school.
Well, I just work around here as an intern. Maybe I'll just stay here for a couple of months. 
The food at the cafeteria of my work place is awful. Luckily there is a McDonald's nearby but I can't always grab eats at McDonald's...most of burgers there have meat. Fish burger might be my only option so far.

Romek also came today, he was really shy cuz he'd never sung at a KTV before.
I have to tell you he has an amazing voice, so beautiful!
My favorite song recently is 'You Lost Me' by Christina Aguirela..

Today I took Romek to Wangfujing Street, about 18min by subway.
It's really not far, just located to the east of the Forbidden City.
I've rode bicycle to Guomao from home at night, and passed through Wangfujing, they are both on line1.

Tips: If you'd like to save time in rush hour, don't go subway. Try cycling in Beijing except smog days. Sometimes it's even faster than driving.

So here I am in Poland :-)
It was really long travel.
It s very sunny here

When I came out from envelope, I saw very big dog- Reksio . But he s very nice and wanted to say " hallo" . We took a picture together and we were talking about our countries . He asked me about his friend Romek who was in China. Unfortunately Reksio is to big for travels so he has to stay at home. But he loves to listen about other countries.

My new host Anna took me today with her to show me some places in Jelenia Gora. It is a city in south-western Poland. Jelenia Gora is surrounded by mountains from all sides. You can translate the name als deer s mountain. Deer is an animal witch is living in our forrests.

The name of this  city is like that becouse the very old legend says that  in 1108 the Polish prince Boleslaw III Krzywousty was hunting a deer that recovered from his wound in a natural hot spring and so a spa was founded at the site.  The legend tells  that  deer hunt that led to finding a location of a future town
In town we  can find in many places deers. I saw two of them :-) They are very beautiful. The first one was very big, next was little. Both of them we found  in town centrum.
And this man who is on this picture that is prince Boleslaw Krzywousty ( from legend ). This prince is historical, he was really polish prince in 1108. This portrait was so big, and it was not so easy to take the picture with him  :-) :-)

I m very happy bacause Anna told me that we will travel next days :-0 But she didn t tell me where ;-)

I m in Prague
This city is really magical :-)

Today I saw Prague castle- The most important historical monument in this city, The seat of Czech kings, today of the President.
I visited  St. Vitus Cathedral too.

I saw beautiful city view. Anna wanted to take some nice pictures for me so I was smiling and here are my pictures 

Tomorrow I will see Charles Bridge- one of the most famoust places in Prague !

We saw very beautiful and famoust clock tower too.

We were walking down the street in centrum. Lot s of galleries was there :-)

We really wanted to stay longer in Prague but we have to come back   But I hope I will see more so beautiful places 

We are back from Czech Republic.
I have to take a breath because next week we will go to next travel.
I cant wait

We have to travel whole night. But I think I will unable to sleep

After long travel I m in Gdansk right now :-0
Tomorrow we are going to see some beautiful  places . I m so happy :-0 Hope it will be nice weather tomorrow.

Today I saw very nice lion. Look at that :

Gdansk  is a Polish city on the Balticcoast.

The city was the birthplace of the "Solidarity" - movement which under the leadership of Lech Walesa.
Today I saw the shipyard’s gates where  the shipyard workers  went on strike in August 1980. . All official delegations visiting Gdansk lay flowers at the foot of this place .
It s the same gate where On Aug. 14, 1980,  Lech Walesa, on the run from the secret police, scaled the shipyard gates and joined nearly 17,000 workers who had locked themselves inside in an act of defiance

" WoW ! :-0  Anna can we go there? Really?! Thats great :-) "

And we saw so beautiful views :-) It was so high, but I wasn t scared :-0
