GCVNTM - Prague, Czech Republic - 25th December 2015
By: HighSpeedKäscher
Brutus visited the next European country: the Czech Republic. He started with the capital, once being the capiatl of Bohemia, then fron Czechoslovakia and nowadays from the Czech Republic. Fascinating city with a fascinating history.
Brutus crossed the Vitava River on one of the famous bridges, passed throug the k.u.k. (kaiserlich und königlich = imperially and royally) district and went up to the cathedral and some of the tiny little houses.

GC5PT4N - Bunzlau, Poland - 27th December 2015
By: HighSpeedKäscher
Bunzlau (nowadays Bolesławcu) is famous for its pottery. Brutus enjoyed the town and the museum. Nice exhibit: "Bunzlauer Braunzeug", the coffee set of Hermann Göring.
Finishing an interesting day trip with good polish food.

GC54FY4 - Princeton, USA - 18th March 2016
By: HighSpeedKäscher
Brutus visited Princeton and the place of special interest: The house where Albert Einstein lived after exilation.
(But Brutus won't study in Princeton. He is too young for a beer. Incredible in Good Old Europe: You have to be of age 21 and older to drink beer or wine. For Europeans it's sort of "face palm" )

GC69WC1 - Monticello, USA - 21st March 2016
By: HighSpeedKäscher
On every nickel you find it. We never expected to see the place completely ignoring where (or what) it is. So, one of the best surprises during the stay in Virginia was this place. All of a sudden we and Brutus stood at the place where President Jefferson lived.
The visit was fascinating and Brutus enjoyed it as much as we did.
The photos show Brutus inside and outside Monticello.
And the dark spots in the photo of Brutus standing in the roundshaped windows are not pixel errors but dozens and dozens of ladybugs. Spring arrived at this place.

Remember John Denver and his song "Take Me Home, Country Roads"; especially the part "Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue ridge mountains, Shenandoah river..."? Here, at Old Stony Man Cliff Brutus (and we, too) had everything!

At home we would say: "Kaiserwetter"!. This means: "weather is great and does meet the need." And for the Cherry Blossom in Washington it was fantastic!
Brutus enjoyed the Cherry Blossom - and asked, if Cherry Blossom in Japan would be similar?
And not to forget: Brutus met Abraham Lincoln.

GCJHFN - Richmond, USA - 26th March 2016
By: HighSpeedKäscher
Who thinks the USA lacks off history didn't visit Virginia. Here you can see (and feel) still the civil war. People are proud to be in "the South" and they tell it to everybody at any chance. We can't tell how often someone told us that we "are in the South". It's amazing, it's 150 years ago that so many battles took place in Virginian territories - and it's still "alive".
We and Brutus enjoyed Richmond: we started our tour visiting the Capitol, we continued walking to downtown (which is a lowd and crowdy place) and we finished at a place at the James River. Such rapids we don't know in Europe. Amazing!
In the Capitol Brutus met all the "guys" again: In the order of appereance: General Lee, George Washington and again President Jefferson

If this is an April Fool's joke it's bad one. Anyhow: Brutus immediately painted a poster - just in the case.
