James Lake BC, Canada - 27th May 2014

I am so happy my mommy adopted me...already having been home for one day, she and daddy are taking we on a fishing trip! I have made good friends with Molito, Rico, Emil and Princess...they are very welcoming to me....so on our first adventure together, we went to James Lake which is only 1 hour drive from home. We enjoyed the sunshine and really relaxed. I had to wear this horrible life jacket, but with all my thick fur, I was too hot and it kept "coming off"...hehehe, I actually just wiggled out of it so many times, mommy gave up on me! We caught 5 rainbow trout and saw many animals, like a blue heron, hawk, a loon, bunnies, and frogs....it was magical first day together!

After being in the boat for 4 hours, it was time for all of us to go eat! While my daddy built a fire for cooking, we went exploring...Molito is very adventurous...he was the first to climb onto a chair cut out of a tree stump! Rico liked sitting on the table and looking out at the lake, while Emil enjoyed watching the fish be fileted. Princess really liked sitting watching the fire while the fish cooked, but I really liked the smell of the cooked fish...I mean I AM a seal...I could have eaten it whole, but humans like it a different way...it was good though...after we ate, we climbed a tree, and a rock. We saw a chipmunk looking at us, so we all put peanuts on us...if you look at one of the pictures, you will see the chipmunk taking the peanut from Princess head!

We then went for a little hike and found a pond, where I am told many moose hang out...we sat and looked for one, but did not see any today...on our way home, we helped find a spot for my mommy and daddy to place a new GEOCACHE...one of their other hobbies...it is hiding under a tree now! We then ran through a big field of wild strawberry and raspberries! Wow, that was an awesome day, today!
