hi, my dear family at the baltic coast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today we had again a ride downtown and more....

we took the BRT-bus and.......... first went to silk road tower!
and we had a look at the german language institute's haftsin
and at the haftsin of the tower as well!!!!!!

later we had a look where some haftsin stuff was sold...
even I'd like to look at the shops of goldfish-sellers, but ipue...
was not strong enough to make pics there with my and all my
cousins..... what a pityyyyyyyyyy.....

so I had my closest point nearby to a goldfish at these haftsins!!!
better than nothing....................



and while going home we found several chinese hotair ballons,
used yesterday night for tshaharshanbehsuri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we had great news about the tabriz urban train... everybody is calling it METRO!!!!!!!!!!!
it was prolongated recently opened at the anniversary of the islamic revolution from
shahgoli to saat (ancient townhall) in the city center!!!!!!!!
and they announced the timetable for the new year holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!
ipuenktchen-hostmom and her hubby are alwaysverz curious for events like this!!
and so we went today to enter the metro to see more stations!!!!!! yeaaaahhh!!!!

btw, dear mom & dad, do we have a metro in stodo, too????????

HAPPYYYYYYYY NEW YEEEEEAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SALE NO MOBARAAAAK.... as they call it in farsi here in IR!!!!!

today at 1 PM 58 min 40 sec the new IR year 1396 started....
and up from now we had the celebrations of NOROUZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we saw so many different haftsins everywhere during our
vistes and sightseeings!!!!

pls have a look at my *haftsin-collection*, when we got pics
everyday during the norouz holidays now while visitng siblings
or doing sightseeing downtown!!?! there had even been much
more than this, but when we were by car and had a glance at
the beautiful haftsins allover tabriz, we couldn't stop unfortu-
nately.........



I'm starting here with ipue's haftsin with the blue tablecloth!!!!!!!!!!!
and the next one with the red tablecloth is from dear lili_6789!!!
the last one with the esfahan tablecloth is from the German Language
Institute of dear son2...

we are busy with *eyd didani* to visite our siblings and friends to wish them
a happy new year, as most ppl in IR are loosing their time during the holidays with... hehehe....
and also we had a look at son's2 - they hadn't been at home.. hahaharrrrr...
besides we went to the shopping center LALEH PARK, as son1, who was with us,
hadn't seen before........ ey gosh, what a crowd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's again time to be busy with *eyd didani*.... hehe.......
today we had a walk in our shahgoli park, everywhere such
a crowd!!!! and finally entered a restaurant to have a nice
lunch, they made their own bread!!! son1 & hubby had the
traditional stew *abgousht* and ipue a chicken kebab....
later another visit again.......

spring is in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ipue presented us today beautiful spring flowers in her garden!!

hellooooo, dear friends, buddies, followers!!!!!!!!

as there are during the norouz-holidays so many sightseeing-offers
in tabriz, ipuenktchen decided to go again to the ancient townhall,
as last time, when they joined there for their very first time, they
the ....salon was closed!!!
and this time we reached it, and it was really impressing!!!!!!!!!!!

we had a break in the garden there, it was so nice, a small handicraft
bazar beside.. later we went back home.

hi, agaiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as the norouz-holidays are going to be finished soon,
ipuenktchen decided to go again downtown for a
special reason!!!!

so she took me again with her... I'm so thrilled, coz
as I'm their guest, she tooks me with her everytime!!!



when we jumped out from the BRT-bus we heard smth
of live-music, indeed... in the yard of the townhall was
an *ashigh*-singer and so many ppl were listening there!!!
we did the same.....



when we got tired of we entered the ancient mansion
heyderzadeh for the tourist information behind the townhall.
we had a look everywhere because of its traditional decoration!!
and we took a photo of the beautiful ancient bassin in the yard!

and also ipue had some questions at the touri-info-stuff!!!!!!
she heard about a very new museum, not really opened but
only for the norouz-holidays, coz the renovation isn't really finished!!!

as it should be open until 7 PM we had time enough to go there.
one of ipue's hubby's siblings, who is the director of another
museum, gave her an excellent map of the whole bazar aerea!!!!
and we took a taxi and found the place even immediately!!!!!!

and the same time we passed the *moharram museum*, never
heard or seen before.. and then, the great moment, the museum
of bazar and professions appeared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a great moment!!
and it was open!!!!!



we were speechless!!!!!!!!!!!!! they brought from different oldest
parts of the bazar, which is a world heritage site since 2011......
some whole shops and workshops.. and rebuilt them here again!!
as there are a drugstore, a spice shop, a carpenter, and and and and......
everyone with the whole equipment and meubles of their shop..
it was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!

and ipue got so happy when she imagined to show this in future
to her guests and friends and everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a great
place, and even we can be happy and thrilled with so high efforts
their hometown is busy for *tabriz 2018*, when tabriz will be the
cultural capital of the islamic countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the last day of our IR new year celebrations is always *sizdahbedar*, the 13th day of the new year!!!!
it's the custom everybody is going out for picnic and bring the sabze from haftsin
back to the nature, best of all bring it into floating water!!!!!!

and we went out as well, to the garden of ipue's hubby beside lake gurigol at km 25 teh road!!!
best weather, guys!!!! a bit cold, but fully sunshine!!! we were so happy and had lots of fun
together with ipue's friends and my own TVbuddies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but believe it!!!! finally at the end of this great day at 3 AM we had
SNOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW again!!!??!?!?!
AZ - ppl az mad az their weather.... hahaha...... as ppl call themselves..

even I was so happy to spend these new year holidays at ipue's and learn all the nice customs
and so on.... I saw lots of haftsin!!!!! pls google for!!!

today ipue and her hubby had a very long to-do-list and no
time to think for photos or for meeeeeeeee.... :-((((((((((((((
as ipue had many prescriptions from different docs...
and had to be ready for.. each with a different briefing!!!!
so for instance she should have a small dinner, means
a soup or a stew... and very early, not later than 7 PM!!!!!
they went by foot to ask every restaurant, mostly not
ready yet.. coz IR ppl take their dinner at 9 or 10 PM............
but finally they found one, very clean little restaurant....
and a VERY tasty stew!!!!!! thumbup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
