I got a passport and driver's license from my new father

Hi today I am in Plön, a town in Schleswig-Holstein.
Today starts  a marathon run over 10,8  km



all participants are excited





I'm going to the Plöner lake, there's a great landscape, with old avenues



and small peat areas



Here I am on the other side of the Lake, it was a beautiful day, I hope, all marathon runners have arrived

Today  I am in Niendorf, a small town on the Baltic Sea





The weather is fantastic

In the heavy seas i saw a boat with several TV



I go to the beach to welcome them

Hi today I tell you from my trip to Sweden.

Ugla has invited me to Motala to the Vätternrundan, but that's a separate story.








I see a foreign country, how exciting
First we take the ferry to Denmark and then we drive by car over the Öresund bridge to Sweden.


We pay the bridge toll and are there, Sweden.





Ugla invited me to the eat by sibylla, that was  tasty.





Sweden is a great country the sun always shines, the lakes are blue and beautiful.







We sit on a lake and enjoy the country.







Located in Motala, there is a lock of the Göta chanel



We were just  drink coffee  as a ship arrived.






The doors opened and a small Sailing ship was visible













it slowly went out and and the water was pumped out of the lock.



The small boat was lowered and moves to the next lock.




Good  journey small ship .

It is so far, I'm am participant of Vetternrundan.
Vätternrundan (pronounced vet-turn-rund-an) is a 300 km (186 mile) long recreational bicycle ride held .
I hope I have sufficiently trained.











Befor i am starting I look at everything








Then I get the start documents
and it goes on 300 km  wait for me, ugla hugged me at the start.






It is time for a break to eat and drink, the other participants look exhausted





at sunrise, I see the other Lakeshore

The finish is still far away




Hooray I have it
At the finish  get  a medal and  a meal.





At home, i tell the other TV my adventure.
They are amazed and said i am a hero.

Hi today I am on the way  to the Bastei.
I'm stop for a short coffee in Gera.







The lion is the heraldic animal of Gera
but let us continues to the Bastei.


The Bastei is a rock formation towering 194 metres above the Elbe river in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains .
I get a ticket for the ferry and  it goes on.








Through the valley of  Amsel Bottom, through the Sweden Tower








It is a wild and  romantic valley. It is here like in the jungle,
with narrow paths and green ferns.







Then we're up.
The view is overwhelming






Down there is a paddle steamer on the Elbe.

Today i am in Wallnau
( Wallnau Waterbird Reserve (German: Wasservogelreservat Wallnau) is one of the most important reserves for migratory birds in Germany and the largest of NABU's nature conservation centres. The former pond estate of Wallnau lies on the west coast of the Baltic island of Fehmarn and covers, in its core zone, an area of just under 300 hectares (740 acres).








Unfortunately, most birds have hatched






but that does not matter,
there's a pond with frogs

Today we take a cruise on the river  trave  around the old town of Lübeck.
We start near the Salzspeicher, a  historic warehouses where salt delivered from Lüneburg awaited shipment to Baltic ports.
and continue the downward traveling to the Lübeck museum port  with old sailships and the old  Fehmarnbelt Lightship.
To the new port It is  the gate to the Baltic Sea.

I am now on the way to Switzerland.



I'm in Murten  (German) or Morat (French) is a municipality in the See district of the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.













It is a beautiful city with old arcades and fountains.











Here there is a party soon, preparations have started

I want to go to southern Germany with Henri
and we stopped at a    roadhouse nearby Frankfurth,







there we enjoy the skylinie of Frankfurth

I am with Henri in a small town it call Metzingen it is near Stuttgart,
there are pretty old houses,







and many outlet center.
we observe  the frantic people.




Henry looks at Joop suits, he wants to buy one. It looks really good.





Henri finds in a small shop his brother a famous pilot,
he is preparing for new adventures over the ocean



Other members of his family are not so friendly, they work as security forces.

Today I am with Henri in Strasbourg

Strasbourg  is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region in eastern France and is the official seat of the European Parliament. Strasbourg's historic city centre, the Grande Île (Grand Island), was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.




At the train station, we saw our first TGV, it looks very futuristic.









In the city there are many channels with flowers.

The old town is fantastic in the Sun











The city is chiefly known for its sandstone Gothic Cathedral with its famous astronomical clock, and for its medieval cityscape of Rhineland black and white timber-framed buildings, particularly in the Petite-France district.



On a street, we find a parking ticket machine
There you can pay with a card and everything is displayed in different languages.

I am with Henri at the European Parliament in Strasbourg
