Oh Mommy...I finally arrived in Canada...It was a very long flight but I made it safely! My suitcase was greeted at the mailbox by my 3 new friends. Betzi, Prickles and Molito were so nice to help me open my suitcase and unpack....They seem to be very nice! I think we will be great friends...

I was even greeted by one of my hosts dog....Keiko...she is big and I was a little scared at first, but Molito told me she felt the same when she came and the dog is now her friend...I hope we will become friends too!

I was so tired, so I had a little nap and some lunch. When I was ready, my host told me we were going to her physiotherapy...my first adventure here in Canada! There were a lot of wonderful people there and they seemed very nice.

After Physiotherapy, we were told that we were very good today, so she took us to the beautiful Okanagan lake beach called Rotory Beach.... We sat at a picnic table and watched the Canadian Geese in the water, then we walked through the sand...it was nice and soft...after that we played in the sand and then tried to climb a tree....we even got to sit on the water bicycles!  We got one last look at the pretty beach from my mom's car..... on the way home, we stopped to see all the baby cows in a pasture...they are soo cute!

When we arrived home, I was sooo tired, but to my surprise there was this wonderful smell coming from the back yard....we were allowed to go see and sit in the lilac bushes! Oh mommy, these are so pretty and smell so good...don't you think I look sweet and colour co-ordinated with these purple flowers? Pink and Purple go so well together....I believe these could be my favorite thing so far here in Canada! My friends are treating me so kindly that I am only a little home sick...l love you mommy!

Wow, mommy you would be very proud of me...I just about passed out when I realized that my new friend Prickles was about to have surgery!  I took a few deep breaths and I was fine. Prickles is on her way for her first outing into the world soon, so she wants everyone to know she is Canadian!

This is the first new TV to arrive since I came....I didn't know what to expect...but I was very happy to greet Rico when he came out of his suitcase! He met me, Molito, Betzi and Prickles. He was a little un-nerved with all the attention the animals gave him, but we all assured him they were very good. I think Gibbs the cat really likes him! He is going to take a nap and then we will have some lunch...soon we will be on our next adventure here!

What a beautiful sunny warm day here today...it is 27 C ! We were all taken to the beach called Gyro beach...Betzi, Molito, Rico, Prickles and I sat on a picnic table, then went for a cold slushie at the snack shack shaped like an apple. We then went down the slide and climbed the climbing wall. We took a moment to just enjoy Lake Okanagan while we sat on the beach...then we saw a cute little boy who let us all sit in his wagon and play with his sand toys...When we were ready to go, we went to Prickles mom's car and enjoyed the lake view before coming home.

When we got home, the mail box was full of beautiful postcards from all over the world...my host says she loves getting postcards in the mail and it's her hobby...something called POSTCROSSING. It was really neat to see all the different cards she got today! They came from Finland, Russia, USA, Japan, Taiwan and Belarus!

I was so happy that all of my new friends and I were able to go to watch our host play softball! It was such a beautiful night too!  I was hanging out nice and close to the fence with Rico, Betzi, Molito and Prickles! They won the game too...that was really funny to watch as people were shaking hands and saying "good game good game good game!"

Today we received a new friend in his suitcase! He is very nice. After we helped him out of the suitcase, we were happy to greet him...Rico, Molito, Betzi, Prickles and I said hello to Emil.
He came from far away and was very tired...."Gibbs" the cat really enjoys helping us greet our new friends....but I am a bit sad, as Prickles is going to be leaving in the next day or so....She is very nice and a great host...but it is her turn to explore the world!
