This used to be the Army Museum, but the museum has moved. Now the building is empty. In future it will become a Multi purpose building, with shops, appartments and a startpoint for the roundtripboats.

This is a brand new bridge.

Behind me you see the lovely townhall.

Now we are at the balcony of the townhall, overlooking the marketplace. It's the biggest marketplace of the Netherlands!

This is the New Church. It isn't that new, though! It was built in the Middle Ages!

Here is some Delft Blue again! It's a wellknown image: the girl with the pearl earring, after a painting of Vermeer. Vermeer was born in Delft. Did you know that?

This is the Old Church, which is even older than the New Church 
You can see it has a leaning tower.

There is one windmill left in Delft. Two years ago it was lifted up from the ground and replaced a few meters further on! This was necessary for the building of a new tramway.
So far I like Delft very much! Do you like it too, mummy?

Dear mummy,

Here I am again! We discovered another part of Delft today. Unfortunately it was raining and the wind was strong. But we were brave! Here we are near the Oostpoort (East Gate). A lot of houseboats are moored in the canal. There are only two canals in Delft where houseboats are allowed to stay.

Here we are at the Oostpoort, which Emjay uses as profile picture. It is the only gate left, from the four city gates.

This is said to be the oldest house in Delft.

This is the Rietveld Theatre. Emjay works here as a volunteer. She does PR for the performances, organizes stuff and maybe she will even become a executive producer for "The Tempest"!

Thursday is marketday in Delft. So here you can see the stalls, standing in the rain 
Although the weather was grey my friends and me had fun!

There's one more picture I like to show you today. It is soooo funny! Emjay's neighbour collects hippo's and his son has made this drawing on their gardenwall. Isn't it great?
