Emjay was a bit busy, but today she finally had the time to show me around in Delft!
First we went to her workplace. Here I am, sitting in her chair.

After Emjay's work, we did a little tour. This is the "Beestenmarkt", the old farmer's market. To remind us of the past, there's a statue of a cow in the middle of the square.

There are a lot of bistro's and terraces at the Beestenmarkt. It's a shame the sun does't shine! Now the chairs are empty.

This is the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church). Well, it isn't that new! It was built in the Middle Ages!

And this is the Oude Kerk (Old Church), which is even older! Perhaps you can see it has a leaning tower.

Delft is famous for Delft Blue pottery. The walls of this alley are painted in Delft Blue style. I like it!

Behind me you see the Oostpoort (East gate). The only old city gate that survived. Emjay uses the Oostpoort as her profile picture.
