Galiya apa's toyvoy is back home, she is very happy 



Well, I have good news and bad news for you.. Actually today it was Galiya apa's small and modest wedding ceremony But the sad thing is that she forgot to take me with her there.. So, I have a post factum photo only)



In the evening their closest relatives came to congratulate them. Anyway, it was nice to see their happy faces

Hello there!

I'm here with a new update, at the end of which you will see something romantic and beautiful
Actually we went to a shopping mall called "City-centre" that is situated not in the city centre, of course, but almost on the outskirts, a good sense of humour they have But these outskirts are quite privileged ones, since there is the Universiade village nearby (the 2013 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXVII Summer Universiade, was held in the city of Kazan (Tatarstan, Russia))








We didn't buy much, but that's not the point of shopping, the main thing is to have fun
Then we went back home by a tram Only two stops, not far!





And the promised romantic thing is a rainbow that we saw today in the evening It was really brighter in life, but the photo is also ok!

So we were at the hairdresser's yesterday! I got a head massage and hair mask, I felt very girlish)) A nice day it was!

Here's a non-routine update for me and a routine one for Galiya apa
We went to a local supermarket to buy some food

August-September are a watermelon season here) The one we bought wasn't very red, but it was yummy really! And on the last photo you can see a Tatar dessert called chak-chak. It is made of small fried dough pieces poured with honey paste. Yum-yum!

Hello my dears!

This is going to be my largest update here I guess The pictures were taken at the end of September, we went for a walk around the city centre, it was really warm then! Now it's coooooold, for October) +2C right now, if interested

Out of the metro:

I have very few pictures of this street, don't know why Maybe I was too busy looking around




Heading up to the Old Tatar district past fountains and the Tatar State Academic theatre:






The most of the renewed part of the Old Tatar district is situated near the bank of the Qaban lake. Approaching:

During this walk we had a cup of tea and some watermelon in a local cafe here

Two weeks ago it was nice and warm here too, but now it's cold (+8 and mostly raining) Good weather to stay in and look at your updates.

Hello Mum and Kamille!

Here is the promised surprise!
It took a loooot of time and a great deal of effort and patience to make it! But I have a new dress now!
In fact it was a real challenge for Galiya apa since she had last sewed a garment 18 years ago at school)))) I helped her as much as I could
My dress resembles Tatar traditional women's clothing I like it very much! And it's warm! That's vital since we have winter here already

Hi Mum!

Are you and Kamille ok? You didn't react to the last update, so I was worried a little. Or maybe you didn't like my new dress?

Anyway, we went to a master class on ebru! Ebru is a traditional Islamic and Turkish painting art, and can be defined as painting on water and transferring this painting onto paper. This was a first try to all of us! And it was really interesting!

And also we made a photo frame in this technique! Beautiful, isn't it?

I'm so sorry I didn't react earlier! We were busy with all kind of things.
Anyway, I looooove your new dress! I'll ask Emjay if she can knit a matching sweater for me. I'm glad you're dressed warmly now.

Hi little sis and Galiya apa!

We celebrated "Sinterklaas" yesterday. It's a Dutch tradition. Sinterklaas (St. Nicolas) comes by and gives presents to all children. I got a nice sweater, the same colours as your dress. Do you like it?

I miss you, little sis! I hope to see you soon! My regards and a big hug for Galiya apa, because she is such a wonderful host for you.
