BajraSandhi-Bali (Part 2), Indonesia - 11th April 2013
By: Linda Fdph
Hello....
Here iam , in Bajra Sandhi Monument
About the Bajra Sandhi itself , the architecture is very unique, taking the shape of Bajra or Genta, a bell that used by Hindu Priests during religious ceremonies. It is also a symbol of the bond between males and females that creates prosperity according to the epic that tells the story of the Gods struggle to get the Water of Eternity.
Every statue and each carving in the monument compound has its own meaning. The whole of the monument symbolizes Mount Mandara where, according to the epic Mahabarath, the Gods had a battle with giants fighting for the Water of Eternity

Kertagosa-Klungkung-Bali, Indonesia - 14th April 2013
By: Linda Fdph
Hello..............
Now , iam being located at Kertha Gosa , an old building of jurisdiction and legislation and is one of the main areas in Bali that has been important throughout history in the development of modern Bali. Located within the district of Klungkung in the north of the island and is an excellent and grand old area with amazing history. The words Kertha Gosa mean peaceful announcement which has been the prime focus of the Kertha Gosa throughout history. The inside and outside of the Kertha Gosa and all around it there is some amazing art in the form of paintings and carvings of wood and stone. This is an area unlike the temples of Bali and the feel is very different. Here at the Kertha Gosa the focus is on power and the importance of the legal system as it was here that trials and penalization was carried out. When inside the Kertha Gosa it is easy to feel how it must have been in the old days when the trials and deep discussions on the politics of the area where carried out. The Kertha Gosa is not only of great cultural value but many of the artifacts and artwork that is inside the building has been deemed extremely valuable although obviously it will remain inside.
And i took a picture with Indonesia girls that wearing their traditional dress, KEBAYA

Säntis, Switzerland - 16th June 2013
By: Jasper
Hello mummy,
Today I got up early. A trip on the program. According to the weather it is 30 degrees Celsius today. I wanted to put on my shirt but Jasper consisted on the warm sweater. After half an hour's drive we reached the Schwägalp (1352 meters above sea level) I saw high mountains with white spots.
Jasper said to me: This is snow. I wanted so much to go there.
And so we boarded the cable car
and drove up the mountain Säntis.
At 2,502 meters above sealevel, Säntis is the tallest mountain in the Alpstein massif of northeastern Switzerland. The mountain is a highly visible landmark.
The panorama from the summit is spectacular.
Six countries can be seen if the weather allows: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France and Italy.
The exposed location of Säntis results in weather conditions normally observed in the high Alps. For example in April 1999, just beneath the summit on the northern snowfield of the mountain, a snow height of 816 cm recorded what. The daily mean temperature is -1.9 ° with a precepitation of 2,701 mm per year.
The International Meteorological Congress of Rome in 1879 declared it as a necessity to build weather stations on adequate and accessible summits. Therefore the Swiss built a weather station on Säntis. (Commissioned in autum 1882)
Located on the peak of the Säntis is a 123.55 meter high transmission tower.
Mom, what can I say, the weather was wonderful. Jasper showed me all the six countries.
Here you can see on the horizon of Lake Constance.
The TV Tower was impressive.
I sat on rocks
and admired rare alpine plants.
I visited an exhibition of minerals - beautiful.
The most beautiful was: I could play in the snow.
I was sitting on the snow,
I was lying in the snow,
I dug down in the snow.
Jasper told me that the snow in June is not as nice and powdery as in the winter. That did not bother me. It was cold, it was wet but it was snow.
Many greetings from the happiest hippo in the world

Hi mum,
Jasper brought us a little skateboard.
On the balcony I tried some feats.
I came away with a few scratches. Nothing serious.

Jasper's home, Switzerland - 19th June 2013
By: Jasper
Hello mum,
Today a new TV arrived.
I think it's a little leopard but I'm not sure.
I'll ask her about it. She is a little shy but very nice.
And that we are, Jasper's gang.
Hugs from Ismaya
