Up in the air, Austria/Slowenia - 16th July 2013
By: Mausbären
Well, what shall I say? To fly again was just like the first time- simply breathtaking- I really enjoyed myself
We did not pass any of the great mountains, we did last time, because we did get a direct to Slowenia, which meant we were so much faster
This way we were able to get good looks at various big cities and rivers, and most impressive of all- of Slowenia's stunning coast

To make a stunning day even more breathtaking we went sightseeing in Piran, a really beautiful old little city!
We were even so lucky that we could look from Piran to Italy, as the weather was so nice- I loved it
It really was a great day, and I enjoyed myself so much

Vienna, Austria - 2nd August 2013
By: Mausbären
hi there!
Today we went to one of Vienna's rivers. We were enjoying ourselves sitting at the coast, when we suddenly saw a raft with a pirate sitting on it- you cannot imagine our surprise- none of us had expected to meet a pirate here in Vienna
When we found a pirate ship, Störte, the pirate, even trained us a bit- it was su much fun

Vienna, Austria - 8th August 2013
By: Mausbären
Hi there!
Today we went up a really high mountain, the Rax, which is one of the highest mountains near Vienna
Up there, we escaped the heat of the city (40degrees celsius), and also enjoyed great views, like the one of the Schneeberg (snow mountain), which is called like that because normally there is always snow on its peak, but now it has been really hot for so long, that it has melted. It still makes a great view.
Austria's mountains are truly wonderful

Vienna, Austria - 8th September 2013
By: Mausbären
Long time no see!
Before I take off to my next host, I was to take part in the most fabulous goodbye party ever- it was legendary!!!
We all dressed up- I dressed up as a ladybug, Drescher as a flower, Mr.Curious was Batman, Störte was the Madhatter,. Cilly Mickey Mouse, and Mr. Moose was dressed up as Harry Potter (genius!!!)
We had so much fun, especially when Störte found us some bottles of Whiskey and Rum
We celebrated like there was no tomorrow- and fell asleep right where we partied- but this might have been a mistake, because Cilly started to decorate and then take pictures of us...but even so I think i do look nice as cheshire cat

Berlin, Germany - 9th October 2013
By: visit BERLIN
Hello everybody!
...What a great party! I guess all people in Austria could hear us singing the whole night! Thank you Mausbären! ...Even if it was too much whiskey and rum. ...As I wrote we fell asleep and Cilly took the pictures but that's not all! I woke up with a bad headache so I had a lie-in... I never slept that long! Suddenly I was in Germany!
And today the Festival of Lights started in Berlin. So my new host and I decided to go there! To the coolest place in Berlin: Potsdam Square.

One week later we enjoyed the perfect weather. In the evening we were on a bicycle tour and I was fascinated of the sunset near the Ullstein House.

On our way home we stopped again at the Potsdam Square. There the people already expected me. It got around that a princess mouse from Spain is on her tour through Berlin. Time for some pictures at the red carpet! And I also made a picture with a nice fan of me!

Berlin, Germany - 25th November 2013
By: visit BERLIN
...After weeks of rainy weather the sun was visiting us again! I was very happy that my host had free today and I couldn't wait for the limousine to come for us. ...But there was no limousine - so we were driving with the subway! But it was okay. Some people stared at me - I think they never saw a royal mouse before...in a subway!
And our first target was the Bellevue Palace.

Sometimes it's necessary to have a lot of imagination - because we also were on a construction area. But a special one: They rebuild the Berlin Palace right where the Palace of the Republic was. So the area wasn't that interesting but I could say "Hello!" to 'Borussia', a original statue of the coming castle.

At least we toke a look at the Britz Castle. It was wonderful there! A comfortable castle with a nice park and a small estate with some animals. (The goose was very excited of me!) I may buy it one day...

Hanover + Harz, Germany - 18th December 2013
By: visit BERLIN
Two weeks ago my host had great news for me: "We will take a holiday!" And I thought: "Yeah, let's go somewhere new!" And some days later we were on our journey to the Harz, a low mountain range. We were driving via Hanover. So we walked through the city some hours. In the afternoon we reached our destination and had the first small nature hike. What a nice view from the "Ahrensklint"...

Brocken, Germany - 20th December 2013
By: visit BERLIN
Next day we had a fascinating trip up to the "Brocken". Even if it's just 1,142 m high it was hard work. Very cold, the ways were frozen and we had heavy storm! It was difficult to take pictures - as you can see at the last one. I had to fight against the storm and my host had frozen fingers. But before we reached the top we also visit another interesting point: "Brocken free again! Wall opening after 28 years here on 3/12/1989." Standing there, reading it... That gave me the creeps! ...not only from the cold temperatures but also because of the German reunification. What a wonderful moment in history!
