It's getting dark really early the day. Anyway, I hope you like my pictures.

I'm wishing you a merry Christmas!

Normaly everybody gets the presents on 24th December in Germany, except us!
We had to wait until the next day.

But then we dressed ourselves with some lovely hats and waited under the little Christmas tree.



Then each one of us was allowed to pick the very own present from the tree!


Look, we all got lovely scarfs from Santa!

Finally I had time to update my travelog.

As it is really cold outside I decided to do a little tour by bus.
Here I'm at a street called Tauentzien.



I enjoyed a cup of tea at the famous Kurfürstendamm and when I went back it was already dark.
Hmmm, the window of the bus is not clear. I should go and sit on the other site.


The window is dirty! The driver should wash his bus!





Argh, I stopped my bus tour and took the underground!


I'm going to visit my first host soon. And I shall bring a skateboard with me. Of course, I'll do!

Gustav got a mail from home that his Mommy is missing him. So he decided to leave. And he took little Nayeli with him to introduce her to his brother Dicker Kumpel.
I think they need a while to arrive, Gustav decided to walk!

I'm finally back to my hometown Berlin.
It was really cold today so I decided to do just one stop over.
Behind me you can see the Victory Column. It is a major tourist attraction to the city of Berlin. Berliners, with their fondness for giving nicknames to buildings, call the statue Goldelse, meaning something like "Golden Lizzy".

And once again I did a walk through the city. It was colder than yesterday, but the sun was shining.

Museum Island is the name of the northern half of an island in the Spree river in the central Mitte district. It is so called for the complex of five internationally significant museums, all part of the Berlin State Museums.

As I told you I'm going to leave soon.
My brother Alex doesn't want to give me one of his boards so I bought my own one. Now I have to build everything together.
It's not so easy, but I managed it.

Today Alex & Petunia said goodbye to Shakespeare and me. We both are leaving for our first journeys. And we both are traveling abroad.

Hi Mom & Alex, I have arrived at my new host's house.  DuDu, the famous detective, helped me out of my envelop.  I showed him my postcard from Koln, and we shared a big candy bar.  I gave him a skateboard and we talked for hours.

DuDu looked at my life missions and was shocked to see "visit Badwater, California".  He was a bit annoyed and brought me a big glass of water.  In his high-pitched squeaky voice, he said, "see, that is the best water in the world, piped in from Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park."  That water is so good, Northern Californians have been fighting over rights to it for decades.  Some environmentalists have suggested that Hetch Hetchy Reservoir be restored to its natural state by removing the dam.  One sip of the water and I oppose that idea!  It is really good, right out of the tap.

DuDu and I got into the atlas, literally, to look for this place called Badwater.  Ah ha!  It is in Death Valley which is in a desert in Southern California. I bet they want some of that Hetch Hetchy water.  .

After the political history debate, we needed to go skateboarding!

So we filled plastic bottles with tap water and headed to our practice room.  We are learning to stop with one foot.  Don't worry, Mom and Alex, we will work our way up to the big hills.

I'm home, Mom!

Hi Mom & Alex,

We went out looking for flowers and found some, didn't see any coyotes but there was a cable car.  When the wisteria blooms, we will know Spring is here.  Can't wait!!

We went skateboarding at the deYoung art museum, Bouquets to Art exhibit.

A floral arrangement mimicked this painting and I skated along with it.

DuDu and I went out skateboarding among the early Spring flowers.  The wisteria is in serious bud so Spring will be here any moment.
