Yesterday was the day of the holy Nikolaus. He brings presents to the good children and to us Tvīs. To the bad children and Tvīs comes the Krampus. We waited the whole day and in the evening surprisingly we found many sweets on the table. They were all for us. There was also a Nikolaus made of chocolate....he didnīt survive

HI~ mum
Today we went to the Wofo Temple.
I saw the temple introduction,Wofo Temple is a Buddhist temple located near the Beijing Botanical Garden 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the center of Beijing. The temple is best known as the location of the 'Recumbent Buddha', a large sculpture of the Buddha lying down created in 1321.The current incarnation dates from 1734. The temple's first recumbent Buddha was carved in sandstone. In 1321, during the Yuan dynasty the sandstone carving was replaced by a 5.2 meter long statue made of bronze and weighing 2.5 tons.Following a north-south axis, the temple contains an entrance gate followed by three halls. On either side of the axis are buildings used by the monks for lodging as well as to accommodate guests. The first hall is called the Tianwang hall, the second the Sanshi Buddha hall, followed by the Recumbent Buddha hall.
I saw the bamboo,This is my favorite food,I ate a lot of bamboo
Buddha is not allowed to take photographs so we took some pictures in the yard. The temple has distinguishing feature very much.
I made a wish, I hope I can travel to more countries and Eat more delicious .Papa said,The thing always happens that you really believe in,and the belief in a thing makes it happen.
The weather is nice today. We had a good time

Recently The suburbs of Beijing also have such a big town,Because not many people just opened.
There are a variety of restaurants, and have many hotels, like Family Lodge,Boutique Hotel,Youth Hostels ,Inn...We will also live here at night.
Here is a theater,In Peking Oper!Frankly,I can't understand . But dragon-lion dance is very lively and interesting

Hi~~mum~
We are still in town,This is our bed room. The room with chinese characteristics, right?
They call it not bed,it's "Kang"(a heatable brick bed in North China),But Nobody uses those things anymore,Just for traveler.Very comfortable and warm.We can have tea and chat on the Kang.
This dish is very interesting,So we took photos,Like a hamburger,But it is not the bread,it's baked wheaten cake (HuoShao)In China people often eat this.Another dish is walnut,It is strange.
It was dark and I want to sleep. This is outside the our hotel. The night scene is very beautiful.
Good night,Mum

HI~Mum
We also went to the Great Wall this holiday. The Great Wall is near the town.
The Great Wall in a high mountain,We take the cable car up the mountain,It's quite a scramble to get to the top of the hill!
To use a chinese saying"He who has neven been to the Great Wall is not a true man."Or translated into One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero.So we climbed up!
PAPA said The Great Wall of China, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was enlisted in the World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987.
The Great Wall of China, also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000, is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century, during the Ming Dynasty, in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes.Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles ) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections of the great wall are now in ruins or even entirely disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance.
The scenery on the mountain is very beautiful. We climbed the Great Wall is just a small small small small part of the Great Wall
This is really amazing We down the Great Wall up to the ancient town for a long walk.
Hey!I'm a really hero now
