I've written, that Starlight Express is a hobby from my mum and me. Last week it was time to go to Bochum again.
Before we drove, I helped my mum to finish two gifts. These are two canvas' with a Dinah- and a HipHopper1-design and my mum gave them to two of her favorite actors.
And then the journey could begin. By the way, did I've already mentioned, that I love to ride on a train?
By the way, Starlight Express is a musical on roller skates. A young boy plays with his toy train at evening until his mom comes into his room and sends him to bed. And while he sleeps, he dreams that the trains come to life and take place in the championship of the fastest trains of the world. This raises the question of who will win: Greaseball the diesel-loc, Electra the e-loc or Rusty the steam-loc?
The other trains are, for example, from Italy, France or Japan. And then there are also the wagons, like the female passenger trains: Pearl the observation car, Dinah the dining car, Buffy the buffet wagon and Ashley the smoking wagon. Or the freight wagons and the followers of Electra. The theme in the musical is who will be the fastest locomotive in the world. But it also include respect, solidarity, friendship, love and above all the faith in yourself.
