Travelog for: Queenie

Finally we have some snow, so we decided to go on a walk around the Kreuzbergsee in Tiefenbach. The lake was contured as recreational area in 1974 and it's magnitude is about 200.000 m². It is about 340 m long and 70 m broad.

The weather was so grey, that we had not really a chance to go out and see other places. It had snowed during the night - everything is white now. At least it isn't so dark outside now.

Hi Mom. I am staying in Nuremberg at the moment. Its very nice here. Host mom and her family are so funny. They have two cats and also two little snakes. Its very good that they are behind glass. I am a little bit scared of them. But host mom said that the snakes are too small that they can eat me. Puh.


Today we've made a little journey to the central city of Nuremberg. We've took you some pictures.

At first we went to a big library by underground.

After that we went to a bridge with some cute locks on it. I saw some beautyful red ones with hearts and names on it. Host mom had to do something and i was waiting in the door. It was funny because it was spinning like a carousel.

At next we went to the marketplace. Ther i saw the "Schöne Brunnen" (it means beautyful fountain). When you turn on the golden ring three times a wish comes true. I wished something but i don't tell you what it is. Heehee.

On the next picture you can find a smiling Clown. Can you spot it?

And it goes on. Next station is the Nuremberg Castle. Its very big. You can find a youthhostel too on it. I think it will be very funny to sleep in such an old house.

Next picture: I found a big and a small rabbit. The big one scares me a lot but the small one was very cute.

Only one picture left from the city. You can see the TV Tower. It looks so small.

For Lunch i helped cover the table. Bing....i've heared the microwave. I hope its something delicious in it.

After that i had a look out of the window. Puh. So much snow. I hope it get warm next time.
Till that i chill by the plants. Its a little bit like beach.
