Fritz-Walter-Stadion, Germany - 3rd July 2012
By: namue
This is where I´m born, the Fritz-Walter-Stadium in Kaiserslautern. It is also one of the stadiums used in the 2006 World Cup. It is named after Fritz Walter, who played for the Kaiserslautern club throughout his career and was captain of the Germany national football team that won the 1954 FIFA World Cup in the "Legend of Bern". The Stadium was built on the Betzenberg Hill, hence its nickname "Betze", and was opened in 1920.

Kurashiki, Okayama pref., Japan - 5th August 2012
By: hanachan
Our train ran across the Seto Ohashi Bridge over the Inland Sea. And we came to Kurashiki-city, Okayama prefecture.
This area is kept the old city view of Tokugawa Shogunate period. (17th-19th century)
There are many historical houses beside the canal. These were once used as warehouse of cotton.
"Kura" of the city's name means warehouse in Japanese.
