On our way back home to Wales, we stopped off in Nottingham. A shop my host wanted to go to was closed, and the caves her husband wanted to see were also closed.

Instead, we had a brief wander around. Could that be Robin Hood?

Back in the centre, there was something unexpected. A beach!

They also had a mini funfair, and a permanent water feature.

My host has been "busy" with school holidays. The weather hasn't been all that wonderful. I'm just writing this to say Hello

Today, we've come to a castle built for King Edward I. This is Rhuddlan Castle.




It is tall!

We can have a look up on the walls later...

Metal staircases have been put in to allow us visitors to climb up...
