Fribourg, Switzerland - 7th February 2008
By: swiss_sunshine
Then Sunshine took me to her university. I met a very strange person and I saw the building where she studied but it's only one of the buildings of the University of Fribourg, which is a billingual university (french-german) of 10'000 students. In her town there are a lot of schools not only the university.

When I arrived at Sunshine's, she was on holiday in South Africa where she bought this nice jersey of the Springboks, the south-african rugby team, world champion! It suits me perfectly, doesn't it?

Zurich, Fribourg - 16th February 2008
By: swiss_sunshine
A friend of Sunshine is living in England for one year but she spent last week in Switzerland to go skiing. On Saturday Sunshine and some friends (and me) went to Zurich to spend the envening and to drop this friend to the airport because she had to return to England. Before the airport, we went to a restaurant and to a bar. Unfortunately, there are no pictures because I prefered to stay in Sunshine's bag because it was tooo cold outside!
Her airplane was at 7 o'clock on Sunday moring, so she had to checked in at 5 o'clock and as there are no train from Fribourg to Zurich (130km far from Fribourg) we dropped her at 2 o'clock at the airport!! It was nice to see the aiport empty! You can see me in the check in, in front of the passport control and in the empty terminal!

Toulouse, France - 8th April 2008
By: Mood
Today we went sightseing in Toulouse. So I took the bus
with Auggie and Robinson
Of course, we began by the townhall behind me, Place du Capitole
(We parked our bus on the place -look behind me-) I
ndeed, we are real popstars, and it was quite hard to visit without being all the way catched by fans ...
Anyway, here is the Donjon (the other side of the townhall)
... then we changed our bus for bicylces (more discreet)
and went to the St Sernin Basilic a very symbolic building in Toulouse
Here is the chevet which is the oldest part of the building (constructed in the 11th century)
It consists of nine chapels, five from the apse and four in the transepts.
And here is the bell tower (the most visible landmark)
It is divided in five tiers, of which the lower three, with Romanesque arches, date from the 12th century and the upper two from the 14th century. The spire in its turn was added in the 15th century.
(If you want any information, call Bestik, your new touristic guide!!!)
But, in fact, what I preferd was the Garonne embankements
so quiet and sunny ... and very windy too !!!!!
Of course, I parked my bike at the right place as I 'm a good citizen ...
Here is the Pont Neuf (New Bridge) ... the oldest of the town
Have you seen, these fishermen below with their strange fishing rod!!! ... In fact, when I got closer I saw it was a microphone !??
I left this strange fishes interviewers, and jumped on the bridge, over the Garonne river
still windy!!!

First Mocha helped our host to register some books for bookcrossing. Later Mocha and I released these books in the San Francisco Coffee Company - many of the SFCCs in Munich are official bookcrossing zones. The one at Gärtnerplatz is nearby my host's home.
Opposite of the SFCC is a nice opera building.
