Merry Christmas, mummy!
On Christmas Eve we all went to hostdad's daughter. After a yummy dinner the giving out of Christmas presents began: we sat next to the Christmas tree and unwrapped presents. So we got to know Elvis, the singing little Christmas tree, a very nice guy.
And we played some games, hostparents gave as a present to each other: "nine men's morris" and "4 will win". Lille and Yuma against Konsta and me.
After watching "The Lion King 2" on TV (another life mission completed ) we went into church (unfortunately I have no photo from it).
Yesterday we drove to hostmum's parents. We sang some Christmas songs and performed two songs by piano and trumpet! After that we needed a refreshment: some chocolat! And we got to know a very nice giraffe who lives there on the piano.
Best wishes, mummy,
yours Knirrie

Happy new year, mummy!
We had a wonderful New Year's Eve party. First we watched TV: "Dinner for one", this old and very funny sketch is sent every last day of the year on many TV channels. Oh, what a joke!
Then we had a very yummy dinner: Raclette. Mmmmhh!
After that hostparents and their friends made strong things, in German it is called "Bleigießen": In former times some lead was melted, now you use tin. They melted the tin and poured it into cold water. A curious thing came into being and everybody guessed what it showed (an anchor, for example) and looked up in a book what it means to the future...I have to admit me and my friends couldn't identify anything...
At midnight we all went out and watched many fantastic fireworks all around. Lille, Yuma, Konsta and me had a very big sparkler together and each of us a little one.
Back in the house a very old little bear gave us a lucky four-leaf clover. And of course we drank sparkling wine and sat together up to the morning...
All the best, yours Knirrie

Hi mummy,
hostmum had to go to hospital for one week and Lille went with her. So Yuma, Konsta and me stayed at home and helped hostdad running the household: we cooked, whashed up and made some food for the old dog ladies. And of course we had enough time to amuse ourselves: playing the piano, making sudoku, discussing about the television program, watching TV and dancing with Ulf, the disco-elk.
So we weren't bored, but nevertheless we were glad when hostmum and Lille came back home...
Best wishes, yours Knirrie

Today we had to say goodbye to Yuma and Konsta!
Konsta, my love, I'll never never forget you and I hope we'll meet again anywhere in the world...and I hope this goodbye won't break my heart...
Take care, Konsta,
forever yours Knirrie

Hi mum,
today afternoon we welcomed Twixx. Cause of his name we thought it was a good idea to welcome him with some twix. And it was!
So we'll sit together the whole night eating twix and talk about this and that...and perhaps I can forget my lovesickness for a while...

Dear mum,
now hostmum and hostdad are on holiday...at home. But so they have time to do nice things like wandering: today we walked round Neuenbeken, hostparent's homevillage that belongs to Paderborn. The weather was really nice...I believe springtime is near. We discovered many things above all many stones, it is a chalky soil in and round Neuenbeken. The strangest thing we discovered was a ball from a Christmas tree in the middle of a wood
We entered a raised hide and visited "Hindahl's cross", a landmark of Neuenbeken. On the pannel you can see where it is.
Bye bye,
yours Knirrie

Hi mum,
today we wandererd again, this time on a route called "old way of pilgrims" with funny signs!
And of course we went into a café and Twixx and me drank a big glass of self-made-cocoa. Yummy!!!
After that we visited a little farm and imagine, mummy, I completed another life mission: I met a real pig! It was great to see and sit on such a big relative!
All the best,
yours Knirrie

Dear mummy,
yesterday it was our farewell day, because I'll travel home and Störte and Frederik will travel to Morocco on Saturday.
First we drove to Paderborn city and showed Twixx the sights: the town hall, the cathedral with the window of the three hares and the Neptun fountain.
And in the evening we had a wonderful farewell party
Bye, my friends, it was a nice time in Paderborn!
Mummy, I'm coming hoooooome!!!!!!!
