Hey,
today me, my mentor Tomi an my friend Timmy the Bear backed some "Vanillekipferl". They are a treat for Christmas and i really  love them They taste soooo delicious.
They are made out of 200gramm of butter, 3 yellow of the egg, 250 gramm of flour, a little bit of backing powder, 125gramm of sugar, one pack of vanilla sugar and 125gramm of grounded almonds.
You mix all together and then put it in the oven for 10min on 175°C
When they are finished you put them in a mix out of sugar and vanilla sugar. Then they're finished

Hey,
today i arrived back from a school trip of my host. He went together with me, his class and another tv that it currently staying at our place to Schliersee. It's about one hour drive away and we stayed from Wednesday 'till today. It was great but i'm sad to say that i only got two pictures. One is at a playground we were and another one is the view from the hotel we stayed.

Hey,
yesterday we went flying. My dad's dad is able to fly a airplane with four seats and so he asked Tomi if he wants to fly with him. Tomi took me, CrazyFace, Berta, Tim the Bear, Timmy the Bear and Pichu a Pokemon with him and it was great. We flew from the Augsburger airport over Munich to the Schliersee. From there we flew over my house and over Munich back to Augsburg. I hope you like the pictures, and if you have a question what you can see on which picture you can sent my dad an pm.

Arrival in England, UK

I have arrived at my hosts house today, she was a little suprised to see that I fitted in an envelope as she didnt realise I was such a little bear! She thinks Im very cute though and looks forward to our time together exploring what Norfolk has to offer. My host also said thankyou for the candy canes 



Well I just wanted to update and let you know I arrived safely.

Hello!

My host apologises for taking so long for the first proper update, she has been so busy with her new job so
says please forgive her. However, on the way home from work today we visited Castle Acre and enjoyed a
lovely walk. It has been very frosty and cold over the last few days but the sun came out today so it was
quite nice walking weather!


Castle Acre Ruins

So we took a wander around the ruins at Castle Acre, this sign shows how this building and the land once
looked many many years ago as well as showing images of flowers that grow in this area over the warmer
months.



Here is what remains of it today...





The building on top of the hill in known as 'The Keep' and as there is a moat area around it we have to use
this bridge to get over to it..









Parts of the ruins are labelled to let visitors know what area you are standing in so you can get an
idea of how the original building was laid out...

Here we are at one of the higher points of the hill..





This is an archway in the wall that surrounded the original building.. the building you can see
through it is Castle Acre village hall..

Cleaning The Car

We havent been able to venture out much this week and the weather here is still on/off rain.

This morning Fimbo Fimble and I have been helping my host with her car and cleaning the inside of it all...
well shes been cleaning the car and we've just been playing in it. 

I made friends with two more toys sat by the dashboard, the sheep is also an air freshener so he smelt very
nice!



I also noticed somebody on the back seat. This is 'punky monkey', he stays in the car all the time and enjoys
the drives.



As you may know all the newer shape VW Beetles have a flower holder, my host has yellow flowers to match
the colour of the car.



I did want to have a go at driving but unfortunately Im too small to reach the pedals and the steering wheel 



..and here is the outside of the car. My host said it needs a wash but it started to rain after we did the inside
so we had to come back indoors.

The Pier Amusement Arcade - Hunstanton

Tonight we took a little drive down to the coast and while we were there we stopped off at the amusement
arcade. Look at all those bank notes in that machine!







We had turns on the two pence coin-pushing machines to try and win these voodoo doll keyrings. We won
four of them including the two black keyrings you can see right at the front of the machine.



Well Ive had lots of fun but Im ready for some Zzzzz now.

Pentney Walk

We went for a walk in my hosts village today... just along the public footpath... I took a few photos so you
could see what this village is like... there is alot of flat pretty countryside about!











The weather here is still unpredictable but as you can see we made the most of todays bit of sun.. we are
actually due very cold weather this week... there are even mentions of snow.. Ill have to keep an eye out
for any

Night Time In The Snow

Its late Saturday night and its started snowing! We have just been out in my hosts driveway to have a little
look.. its not very deep yet but maybe it will snow a bit more by morning...

We didnt stay out too long as it is getting very cold and my host didnt want to get us too wet but luckily we
have a nice heater to get ourselves warm again

Pentney in the snow

Wow, how right we were! The snow WAS deeper this morning! My host wanted to take some photos but
realised she had left her camera at her work office (in the next village) so we took a long stroll down there
to pick it up and took all of these pictures walking back









Look, the river has frozen too!









The tree branches were all covered in pretty snow as well..





and here we are just outside my hosts house...



We did go for another walk elsewhere today but I shall share that with you in my next update...

Hello again,

Castle Acre In The Snow

Well, do you remember the castle ruins we saw a few updates ago? Well we revisited it this afternoon as it
is one of the few places in Norfolk that has any kind of hill to it (Norfolk is mostly very flat land!) so everybody
would be heading there with their sledges. We watched all the families playing in the snow, it was lovely .

We had to park a little way away from the castle and walk (or slide) over ... this is the pretty archway in the
centre of Castle Acre..

I havent forgotten you, we just havent been able to get out much this week and it has been very cold too...
the temperature fell to -11 C at the weekend... needless to say the snow from last week still hasnt melted!

I have just helped my host wrap the present and write the card for her boyfriend. As for me Im going to have full access to everything at my hosts house while she is going out for dinner tonight....  maybe I'll raid the cupboards and help myself to any food! :P heehee

At The Movies

Tonight we went to the Majestic Cinema in the local town of Kings Lynn.
We went to see a film called 'The Woman In Black' ..



Here I am waiting for the film to begin.... as you can probably tell its quite an old fashioned cinema but my
host thinks it adds to its charm



...and just incase I got hungry, we had popcorn too



Well the film was quite scary, it made my heart pound a little in some bits waiting for something to happen
but my host and I really would recommend seeing it!
