HAPPY EASTER!!

Today the Easter Bunny brought us some Easter Eggs! 

Today myself and Phog - who is my new best friend from Germany - went on a trip!



We went to the Irene Dairy. The Irene Dairy Farm is a picturesque gem that nestles between the sprawling cities of Pretoria and Johannesburg. A visit to this old-style, storybook dairy farm is a must. Started in 1895, the Irene Farm has been run the whole time by the van der Byl family who are now on to five generations and has become an iconic landmark in the Gauteng countryside.

I met some very friendly cows



There are also many small ponds on the farm.
I saw some white swans



and then I saw a beautiful black swan!! 





We even saw some catfish in the pond 

I'm very excited! Phog invited me to his birthday party on 21 April!  I can't wait!!





Of course I will help Phog to prepare for the party! 

Today is Phog's birthday party!! I'm really looking forward to it!

Froggy and I helped Phog with the party preparations. The time flew past and before we knew it, it was 14:00!

I wished Phog a Happy Birthday before the other guests arrived.



The other guests followed shortly.



We all sang "Happy Birthday!" in Afrikaans.

This is the words to the song:
"Veels geluk liewe Phog 
omdat jy verjaar!
Mag die Here jou seen
en nog baie jare spaar!"

Then we were all feeling hungry, so Phog presented the 'snacks' and Birthday cake.





Afterwards we all played some 'Badmington'. 





The party was great! I had a lot of FUN!!

Today me, together with Phog and Froggy helped Katara prepare a "Koelkasvla-en-kondensmelktert" (Custard and condensed milk tart).

First we read through the recipe



Then we got all the ingredients together



We prepared the custard



Next we chopped up some cherries and added it to the condensed milk and lemon juice



We lined a dish with some biscuits and then spooned the condensed milk mixture over it



We then packed another layer of biscuits on top of the mixture



Next we added a layer of cooled down custard



We decorated the tart with a layer of cream and some cherries



We placed the tart in the fridge to set.

Later on we each had a slice.  Delicious!

I am very excited!  I am going on my first international trip!
I'll going to visit Erfurt in Germany  I am very much looking forward to it!

Now i am after a long overseas journey arrived in Erfurt.

I've got a big dog locked and have two new friends.

Too bad I already have today of the twain Salmonella and lola rabbit adopt.

To visit the EGA park Erfurt.

Today it was very hot and we went to the pool "Nordbad" of Erfurt

Evening walk in Erfurt.
I went on the tram and i visited a mechanical Theater.
Was on the Krämer bridge.

Visited the Erfurt Cathedral and the mountain Petersberg.

I took a coffee break.

Saw other beautiful locations of Erfurt.
